Claims (5)
- 被包装物を包装するラミネートシートの重ねられた周縁部を超音波で溶着する超音波溶着装置において、
圧接面が形成された超音波ホーンと、
前記周縁部に前記圧接面を加圧して圧接する加圧機構と、
前記圧接面を前記周縁部に圧接した状態で前記超音波ホーンと前記ラミネートシートとを相対的に移動させる移動機構と
を備え、
前記圧接面は、前記圧接面との間に前記周縁部を挟む面との間隔が、前記ラミネートシートに対する前記超音波ホーンの移動方向の先端から後端側に向かって連続的に漸減する形状である
ことを特徴とする超音波溶着装置。 - 前記超音波ホーンよりも前記移動方向に先行する位置に配され、前記周縁部を圧接する平坦な接触面を有する本体部と、前記本体部の前記移動方向の先端に設けられ、前記接触面から前記周縁部を圧接する向きとは逆向きに曲がった案内面が形成された案内部とを有する押え板を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の超音波溶着装置。
- 前記被包装物がタブリードを有する電池要素であり、前記移動機構は、重なる前記ラミネートシートに前記電池要素の前記タブリードを挟んで溶着する部分を含む区間における前記超音波ホーンと前記ラミネートシートとの相対的な移動速度を前記区間外の移動速度よりも遅くすることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の超音波溶着装置。
- 前記超音波ホーンに対向させて配置され、前記超音波ホーンの超音波振動の周波数と略同一の共振周波数を有し、前記超音波ホーンとの間に前記周縁部を挟持するアンビルを備えることを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれか1項に記載の超音波溶着装置。
- 前記超音波ホーンの沈み込み量を監視する沈み込み量測定部を備えることを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項に記載の超音波溶着装置。
