超音波接合装置100によって接合する被接合部材(セパレータ40)は、図1〜図4のうち特に図2〜図4に示している。被接合部材(セパレータ40)は、例えばリチウムイオン二次電池1を構成している袋詰電極11に用いるものである。
第2実施形態に係る被接合部材(セパレータ40)の接合方法を具現化した超音波接合装置200について、図10を参照しながら説明する。

Claims (8)
- 被接合部材に超音波を印加して接合する加工部材と、
前記加工部材を保持する第1保持部材と、
前記被接合部材を介して前記加工部材と対向し、前記被接合部材を前記加工部材に付勢する付勢部材と、
前記付勢部材を保持する第2保持部材と、
前記加工部材および前記付勢部材をそれぞれ前記被接合部材の搬送経路に対して互いに離間並びに接近させる第1移動部と、
前記第1保持部材および前記第2保持部材の両方が係合することによって前記加工部材および前記付勢部材をそれぞれ前記被接合部材の前記搬送経路に対して互いに離間並びに接近させる移動を誘導する1つの基準レールと、
前記加工部材および前記付勢部材が前記搬送経路から離間した状態で前記被接合部材を前記搬送経路に沿って移動させて、前記被接合部材の接合部を前記加工部材と前記付勢部材との間に位置させる第2移動部とを備え、
前記第1移動部は、駆動部によって回転駆動される連結カムと、前記連結カムと前記加工部材とを連結する第1連結部と、前記連結カムと前記付勢部材とを連結する第2連結部とを有し、前記連結カムの回転駆動により前記加工部材および前記付勢部材を前記搬送経路に対して離間並びに接近させ、
前記第1移動部は、前記加工部材による前記被接合部材に対する押圧力を一定に制御する第1押圧部材、または前記付勢部材による前記被接合部材に対する押圧力を一定に制御する第2押圧部材の少なくとも一方を有する超音波接合装置。 - 前記第1押圧部材は、前記搬送経路と交差する方向に沿って伸縮自在に構成し前記加工部材を前記被接合部材に押圧する請求項1に記載の超音波接合装置。
- 前記第2押圧部材は、前記搬送経路と交差する方向に沿って伸縮自在に構成し前記付勢部材を前記被接合部材に押圧する請求項1または2に記載の超音波接合装置。
- 前記第1移動部は、
正転および逆転自在な回転部と、
前記回転部に係合し前記加工部材を支持する第1支持部と、
前記回転部に係合し前記付勢部材を支持する第2支持部と、をさらに有し、
前記回転部は、正転または逆転の動作によって、前記加工部材および前記付勢部材を互いに離間または接近させる請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の超音波接合装置。 - 前記加工部材は、前記搬送経路に沿って回転自在な円盤形状に形成し、前記被接合部材に超音波を連続的に印加し、
前記付勢部材は、前記搬送経路に沿って回転自在な円盤形状に形成し、前記被接合部材を前記加工部材に連続的に付勢する請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の超音波接合装置。 - 被接合部材に超音波を印加する加工部材と、前記被接合部材を介して前記加工部材に付勢する付勢部材と、をそれぞれ前記被接合部材の搬送経路から互いに離間させた状態で、前記被接合部材の接合部を前記加工部材と前記付勢部材との間に移動させる移動工程と、
前記加工部材を保持する第1保持部材および前記付勢部材を保持する第2保持部材の両方を1つの基準レールに係合させることによって前記加工部材および前記付勢部材をそれぞれ前記被接合部材の前記搬送経路に対して互いに離間並びに接近させる移動を誘導した状態において、前記被接合部材を前記加工部材と前記付勢部材とによって挟持しつつ接合する接合工程と、を有し、
前記移動工程は、第1連結部によって前記加工部材が連結されるとともに第2連結部によって前記付勢部材が連結された連結カムを回転駆動することによって前記加工部材および前記付勢部材を前記搬送経路に対して離間並びに接近させ、
前記接合工程は、前記加工部材または前記付勢部材の少なくとも一方による前記被接合部材に対する押圧力を一定に制御する超音波接合方法。 - 前記移動工程は、薄板状の前記被接合部材を搬送する請求項6に記載の超音波接合方法。
- 前記移動工程は、前記被接合部材を水平に配設した状態で前記加工部材と前記付勢部材との間に移動する請求項6または7に記載の超音波接合方法。
