Description
Claims (17)
- 真空断熱ガラス(VIG)窓ユニットの製造方法であって、
窓サッシにVIG窓を取り付ける工程であって、前記窓サッシは前記VIG窓よりも幅の広い非真空断熱ガラス窓を支持するように構成され、前記VIG窓は前記窓サッシの係止部によって第1面上で支持され、前記VIG窓の幅が前記非真空断熱ガラス窓の幅よりも狭く、前記VIG窓は、その間に設けられた真空キャビティを有する第1及び第2のガラス基板を備え、前記真空キャビティは、大気よりも低圧であり、前記第1及び第2のガラス基板を互いに離間させるための複数のスペーサを内部に有する、前記VIG窓を前記窓サッシに取り付ける工程と、
VIG係止部を設置する工程であって、前記VIG係止部が前記窓サッシと接続されて前記VIG窓の前記第1面とは反対側の第2面を支持し、前記VIG係止部の幅が、前記非真空断熱ガラス窓と前記VIG窓の幅の差を補うのに十分であり、前記VIG係止部は、その中空内部に発泡断熱材を含む、VIG係止部を設置する工程と、
を含み、
前記VIG係止部は、平行に延びる、中空でない第1及び第2先端部を有する中空のL字形本体と、前記VIG窓を係合させるための前記第1先端部と、前記窓サッシのリップ部の下に嵌合するための前記第2先端部と、を含み、
断面から見た時に前記窓サッシの上面に凹形ディンプルが形成され、前記凹形ディンプルは、前記非真空断熱ガラス窓の第1及び第2ガラス基板の間に位置し第1及び第2ガラス基板の直下にないように配置され、前記VIG窓が前記窓サッシ上にあるときに、前記VIG窓の第1及び第2ガラス基板の少なくとも一部が、前記凹形ディンプルの一方側に位置する、
真空断熱ガラス(VIG)窓ユニットの製造方法。 - 予め設置されていた幅の広い非真空断熱ガラス窓を支持していた既存の係止部を前記窓サッシから取り外して前記既存の係止部を前記VIG係止部と交換する工程を更に含む、
請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記既存の係止部を取り外して非真空断熱ガラス窓を取り外してから、前記VIG窓を取り付けて、前記VIG係止部を設置して前記既存の係止部を交換する工程を更に含む、
請求項2に記載の方法。 - 前記VIG係止部の幅が、非真空断熱ガラス窓を支持する目的で用いられていた既存の係止部の幅よりも広い、
請求項2に記載の方法。 - 前記VIG窓を受容するために前記窓サッシを準備する工程を更に含む、
請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記準備工程が、前記窓サッシを清掃して残留物を除去すること、前記窓サッシを清掃して接着残渣を除去すること、接着剤を前記窓サッシに付加すること、及び/又は前記VIG窓を受け入れるためにガスケット又はシールを前記窓サッシに供給すること、のうちの一つ以上を含む、
請求項5に記載の方法。 - 前記VIG係止部を、前記VIG窓の外側に対面して設置する、
請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記VIG係止部を、前記VIG窓の内側に対面して設置する、
請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記VIG係止部の幅が12〜32mmの範囲内である、
請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記VIG係止部が、木材、ゴム、プラスチック、PVC、ガラス繊維、ビニル製品、アルミニウム、及び複合材料からなる群のうち少なくとも1つの材料から構成される、
請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記窓サッシが、木材、ゴム、プラスチック、PVC、ガラス繊維、ビニル製品、アルミニウム、及び複合材料からなる群のうち少なくとも1つの材料から構成される、
請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記係止部と前記VIG係止部の間の最短距離で規定される間隙が、前記VIG窓の幅と実質的に同等である、
請求項1に記載の方法。 - 非真空断熱ガラス窓を、前記非真空断熱ガラス窓の幅よりも幅の狭い真空断熱ガラス(VIG)窓と交換する方法であって、
前記非真空断熱ガラス窓が設置された窓サッシと接続された既存の係止部を取り外す工程であって、前記窓サッシは、断面から見た時にその上面に形成された凹形ディンプルを有する、前記非真空断熱ガラス窓が設置された前記窓サッシと接続された既存の係止部を取り外す工程と、
前記非真空断熱ガラス窓を前記窓サッシから取り外す工程と、
前記VIG窓を前記窓サッシに設置する工程であって、前記VIG窓は、それらの間に設けられた真空キャビティを有する第1及び第2ガラス基板を含み、前記真空キャビティは、大気よりも低圧であり、前記第1及び第2ガラス基板を互いに離間させるための複数のスペーサを内部に有する、前記VIG窓を前記窓サッシに設置する工程と、
VIG係止部を設置する工程であって、前記VIG係止部が取り外した前記非真空断熱ガラス窓の幅と前記VIG窓の幅との差を補うのに十分な幅を有し、前記VIG係止部が前記VIG窓の表面と係合して前記VIG窓を側方から支持し、前記VIG係止部の幅が前記既存の係止部の幅よりも広く、前記VIG係止部は、その中空内部に発泡断熱材を含む、VIG係止部を設置する工程と、
を含み、
前記VIG係止部は、平行に延びる、中空でない第1及び第2先端部を有する中空のL字形本体と、前記VIG窓を係合させるための前記第1先端部と、前記窓サッシのリップ部の下に嵌合するための前記第2先端部とを含み、
前記凹形ディンプルは、前記非真空断熱ガラス窓の前記第1及び第2のガラス基板の間に位置するように配置され、前記VIG窓が前記窓サッシ上にあるときに、前記VIG窓の第1及び第2のガラス基板の少なくとも一部が、前記凹形ディンプルの一方側に位置する、
非真空断熱ガラス窓を、前記非真空断熱ガラス窓の幅よりも幅の狭い真空断熱ガラス(VIG)窓と交換する方法。 - 前記既存の係止部を取り外した後に前記窓サッシを処理し、前記VIG窓を受容する前に前記窓サッシをきれいにする工程を更に含む、
請求項13に記載の方法。 - 前記VIG係止部を、前記VIG窓の外側に対面して設置する、
請求項13に記載の方法。 - 前記VIG係止部の幅が前記既存の係止部の幅よりも少なくとも5mm広い、
