Description
Claims (23)
- 真空断熱ガラス(VIG)窓ユニットの製造方法であって、
窓サッシにVIG窓を取り付ける工程であって、前記窓サッシは前記VIG窓よりも幅の広い非真空断熱ガラス窓を支持でき、前記VIG窓は第1面を前記窓サッシの係止部によって支持され、かつ、前記VIG窓の幅が前記非真空断熱ガラス窓の幅よりも狭い、窓サッシにVIG窓を取り付ける工程と、
VIG係止部を設置する工程であって、前記VIG係止部が前記窓サッシと接続されて前記VIG窓の前記第1面とは反対側の第2面を支持し、前記VIG係止部の幅が、前記非真空断熱ガラス窓と前記VIG窓の幅の差を埋め合わせるのに十分である、VIG係止部を設置する工程と、
を含む、真空断熱ガラス(VIG)窓ユニットの製造方法。 - 予め設置されていた幅の広い非真空断熱ガラス窓を支持していた既存の係止部を前記窓サッシから取り外して前記既存の係止部を前記VIG係止部と交換する工程を更に含む、
請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記既存の係止部を取り外して非真空断熱ガラス窓を取り外してから、前記VIG窓を取り付けて、前記VIG係止部を設置して前記既存の係止部を交換する工程を更に含む、
請求項2に記載の方法。 - 前記VIG窓を受容するための前記窓サッシを準備する準備工程を更に含む、
請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記準備工程が、前記窓サッシを清掃して残留物を除去することと、前記窓サッシを清掃して接着残渣を除去することと、接着剤を前記窓サッシに付加することと、前記VIG窓を受容するためにガスケット又はシールを前記窓サッシに供給することと、のうち一つ以上を含む、
請求項4に記載の方法。 - 前記VIG係止部を、前記VIG窓の外側に対面して設置する、
請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記VIG係止部を、前記VIG窓の内側に対面して設置する、
請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記VIG係止部の幅が約12〜32mmの範囲内である、
請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記VIG係止部の幅が、非真空断熱ガラス窓を支持する目的で用いられていた既存の係止部の幅よりも広い、
請求項2〜8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記VIG係止部が、複数の側壁で画定された中空部を備えている、
請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記中空部が空隙を規定する、
請求項10に記載の方法。 - 前記中空部が断熱材で充填されている、
請求項10に記載の方法。 - 前記VIG係止部が、木材、ゴム、プラスチック、PVC、ガラス繊維、ビニル製品、アルミニウム、及び複合材料からなる群のうち少なくとも1つの材料から構成される、
請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記窓サッシが、木材、ゴム、プラスチック、PVC、ガラス繊維、ビニル製品、アルミニウム、及び複合材料からなる群のうち少なくとも1つの材料から構成される、
請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記係止部と前記VIG係止部の間の最短距離で規定される間隙が、前記VIG窓の幅とほぼ同等である、
請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 非真空断熱ガラス窓を、当該非真空断熱ガラス窓の幅よりも幅の狭い真空断熱ガラス(VIG)窓と交換する方法であって、
前記非真空断熱ガラス窓が設置された窓サッシと接続された既存の係止部を取り外す工程と、
前記非真空断熱ガラス窓を前記窓サッシから取り外す工程と、
前記VIG窓を前記窓サッシに設置する工程と、
VIG係止部を設置する工程であって、前記VIG係止部が取り外した前記非真空断熱ガラス窓の幅と前記VIG窓の幅との差を埋め合わせるのに十分な幅を有し、前記VIG係止部が前記VIG窓の表面と係合して前記VIG窓を側方から支持し、前記VIG係止部の幅が前記既存の係止部の幅よりも広い、VIG係止部を設置する工程と、
を含む、非真空断熱ガラス窓を、当該非真空断熱ガラス窓の幅よりも幅の狭い真空断熱ガラス(VIG)窓と交換する方法。 - 前記既存の係止部を取り外した後に前記窓サッシを処理し、前記VIG窓を受容する前に前記窓サッシをきれいにする工程を更に含む、
請求項16に記載の方法。 - 前記VIG係止部を、前記VIG窓の外側に対面して設置する、
請求項16〜17のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記VIG係止部の幅が前記既存の係止部の幅よりも少なくとも5mm広い、
請求項16〜18のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記VIG係止部の幅が約12〜32mmの範囲内である、
請求項16〜19のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記VIG係止部が、複数の側壁で画定された中空部を備えている、
請求項16〜20のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記中空部が空隙を規定する、
請求項21に記載の方法。 - 前記中空部が断熱材で充填されている、
