Claims (3)
- 血管へ挿入されて使用される、拡張および収縮が可能なバルーンであって、
長さ方向の中央部分が基端側に向かって径寸法が次第に大きくなるテーパ形状とされていると共に、
拡張状態において長さ方向の先端部分と中央部分と基端部分とが前記バルーンの中心軸に対してそれぞれ略一定の傾斜角度をもって長さ方向に延びる部分を備えており、
該基端部分が、該中央部分及び該先端部分よりも大きな傾斜角度の絶対値と該先端部分よりも大きな長さ寸法とをもって形成されている一方、
前記バルーンの外表面には親水性を有する有機溶媒を用いたコーティング層が設けられており、該有機溶媒中の組成物の濃度を異ならせることで該バルーンの外表面の摩擦抵抗の大きさが長さ方向で異ならされており、前記基端部分及び前記先端部分の外表面が前記中央部分の外表面に比して摩擦抵抗が小さいことを特徴とするバルーン。 - 請求項1に記載のバルーンに対して流体の供給と排出を行う給排用ルーメンが設けられたシャフトを備えているバルーンカテーテル。
- 前記シャフトが、内シャフトと外シャフトを有しており、該内シャフトによってガイドワイヤルーメンが形成されていると共に、該外シャフトによって前記給排用ルーメンが該内シャフトの外周側に形成されている請求項2に記載のバルーンカテーテル。
