Description
前記中間膜は、
PVB、EVA、アイオノマー樹脂およびCOPのうちの1種類以上の熱可塑性樹脂を含んで、測定周波数10Hzでの動的粘弾性測定において貯蔵弾性率が下記要件(1)および(2)を満足する接着層を有する。
(1)90〜120℃の温度域での最高値が2.3×106Pa以上である。
(2)20〜40℃の温度域に1.0×108〜4.0×108Paの範囲の値を有する。
前記中間膜は、測定周波数10Hzでの動的粘弾性測定において貯蔵弾性率が下記要件(1)および(2)を満足する接着層を有する。
(1)90〜120℃の温度域での最高値が2.3×106Pa以上である。
(2)20〜40℃の温度域に1.0×108〜4.0×108Paの範囲のいずれかの値を有する。
以下、合わせガラス10Aを構成する各要素について説明する。
本発明の実施形態の合わせガラス10Aに用いるガラス板1A、1Bの材質としては、透明な無機ガラスや有機ガラス(樹脂)が挙げられる。無機ガラスとしては通常のソーダライムガラス(ソーダライムシリケートガラスともいう)、アルミノシリケートガラス、ホウ珪酸ガラス、無アルカリガラス、石英ガラス等が特に制限なく用いられる。これらのうちでもソーダライムガラスが特に好ましい。成形法についても特に限定されないが、例えば、フロート法等により成形されたフロート板ガラスが好ましい。
合わせガラス10Aにおける中間膜2は、ガラス板1A、1Bの主面と略同形、同寸の主面を有し、厚みが後述のとおりの平膜状の接着層(S)からなる。
(1)90〜120℃の温度域での最高値が2.3×106Pa以上である。
(2)20〜40℃の温度域に1.0×108〜4.0×108Paの範囲のいずれかの値を有する。
本発明の合わせガラスは、図9に示される一般的に用いられる公知の技術により、各層を積層し、加熱圧着した後、必要に応じてオーバーフロー部を切断することで製造できる。ただし、本発明の合わせガラスにおいては、中間膜が接着層(S)を有することから、加熱圧着工程で、オーバーフロー部が形成されないか、あるいは形成されたとしてもその量が小さい、すなわちオーバーフロー部の幅(w)が狭い。本発明においては、オーバーフロー部の切断工程は、形成されるオーバーフロー部の量(幅)、用途等に応じて適宜行われる任意の工程である。
例えば、合わせガラス10Aにおいては、1対のガラス板1A、1Bを準備し、ガラス板間に接着層(S)からなる中間膜2を挟持させた積層体を作製する。
積層工程で準備された積層体をゴムバッグのような真空バッグの中に入れ、この真空バッグを排気系に接続して、真空バッグ内の圧力が−65〜−100kPaの減圧度となるように減圧吸引(脱気)しながら温度90〜120℃で接着することで、オーバーフロー部が形成された合わせガラス前駆体を得ることができる。
上記加熱圧着工程で得られた合わせガラス前駆体を室温に戻した後、ガラス板の端からはみ出した中間膜のオーバーフロー部がある場合、必要に応じて通常の方法で、市販のカッターナイフ、カミソリ、彫刻刀等のカッターを用いて、この中間膜のオーバーフロー部を切り取る。オーバーフロー部の切断により、合わせガラスの外観品質を上げるとともに、自動車等の車両にアセンブリする際の障害となる部分を取り除く。なお、刃物を用いて中間膜を切り取る場合、刃の入る角度は可能な限りガラス板の主面に対して垂直であることが望ましい。このようにして本発明の合わせガラスが製造される。

- 互いに対向する1対のガラス板と、前記1対のガラス板の間に配置される、1層または多層で構成される中間膜とを有し、
前記中間膜は、
PVB、EVA、アイオノマー樹脂、COPのうち1種類以上の熱可塑性樹脂を含んで、測定周波数10Hzでの動的粘弾性測定において貯蔵弾性率が下記要件(1)および(2)を満足する接着層を有する
合わせガラス。
(1)90〜120℃の温度域での最高値が2.3×106Pa以上である。
(2)20〜40℃の温度域に1.0×108〜4.0×108Paの範囲のいずれかの値を有する。 - 前記接着層は、測定周波数10Hzでの動的粘弾性測定において貯蔵弾性率が、90〜120℃の温度域に2.3×106Pa以上1.0×107Pa未満の範囲のいずれかの値を有する請求項1記載の合わせガラス。
- 前記1対のガラス板の対向面の少なくとも一方の面上に機能性コーティング層を有する請求項1または2記載の合わせガラス。

- 前記機能性フィルムが光吸収、光反射、光散乱、調光、発電、発熱および発光のいずれかを発現する材料を含む請求項4に記載の合わせガラス。
- 前記接着層の厚みが前記中間膜全体の厚みの30%以上を占める請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の合わせガラス。
- 前記中間膜全体の厚みが0.4mm以上4.0mm未満である請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の合わせガラス。
- 前記接着層は、EVAを含み、
前記EVAは、共重合体における酢酸ビニルの単位量が15質量%未満である、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の合わせガラス。 - 前記接着層は、COPを含み、
前記COPは、芳香族ビニル化合物由来の繰り返し単位を主成分とする、少なくとも2つの重合体ブロック[A]と、鎖状共役ジエン化合物由来の繰り返し単位を主成分とする、少なくとも1つの重合体ブロック[B]とからなり、全重合体ブロック[A]のブロック共重合体全体に占める重量分率をwAとし、全重合体ブロック[B]のブロック共重合体全体に占める重量分率をwBとしたときに、wAとwBとの比(wA:wB)が30:70〜60:40であるブロック共重合体[1]の、全不飽和結合の90%以上を水素化したブロック共重合体水素化物[2]にアルコキシシリル基が導入されてなる、変性ブロック共重合体水素化物[3]を含有する樹脂組成物である、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の合わせガラス。
