Claims (4)
- 鋳物を製造するための材料であるアルミニウム金属またはその合金のインゴットを加熱して溶解させ、溶解させた溶湯を鋳型装置に供給するために所定の温度で保持する炉槽と、
前記炉槽に保持された前記溶湯の上面に存在する酸化アルミニウム層に対して、空間を介してその上方に配置された複数のヒータと、
前記炉槽の一方側に設けられ、前記インゴットを前記炉槽に供給する材料供給装置と、を備え、
前記複数のヒータはそれぞれ、発熱体と、前記発熱体がその内部中央に設けられている金属管とを有し、前記金属管の表面にセラミックスのコーティング層が形成され、
前記複数のヒータはそれぞれ、前記溶湯の上面に存在する前記酸化アルミニウム層に対して近赤外線を放射して、前記インゴットを溶解させるとともに、前記溶湯を前記所定温度で保持する、ことを特徴とする溶解保持炉。 - 前記ヒータが有する前記金属管はステンレス鋼又はニッケル基合金であり、前記金属管の内部中央に設けられた前記発熱体と前記金属管との間に絶縁体が充填されている、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の溶解保持炉。
- 前記各ヒータの前記金属管の表面に形成された前記セラミックスのコーティング層は、遷移金属酸化物とコージライトとの複合酸化物で作られている、ことを特徴とする請求項1あるいは請求項2の内の一に記載の溶解保持炉。
- 前記ヒータは、ニッケル系またはニッケルクロム系の合金を下地材として、前記下地材の上に前記セラミックスのコーティング層が設けられている、ことを特徴とする請求項1あるいは請求項3のどちらかの請求項に記載の溶解保持炉。
