Claims (15)
- 車両の周囲に面した外側面及び該外側面の反対側に面して複合材(20)と接合される内側面を有する板状の窓ガラス本体(16)を備える車両用窓ガラスであって、前記複合材(20)は上下に配置された複数の層を含む積層構造を有し、前記層のうち、1つの層は2つのフィルム(32,34)と該2つのフィルム(32,34)間に配置された液晶セル(36)を有する液晶配列(28)を含み、他の1つの層は偏光子層(30)であり、前記積層構造の少なくとも1つの層は、前記液晶配列(28)の面積よりも小さい面積を有する変位層であることにより、液晶セル(36)は該変位層によって覆われた中央部分よりも厚い縁部を有することを特徴とする車両用窓ガラス。
- 請求項1に記載の車両用窓ガラスにおいて、前記変位層は前記偏光子層(30)によって形成されることを特徴とする車両用窓ガラス。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の車両用窓ガラスにおいて、前記変位層は付加的なフィルムである追加層(40)によって形成されることを特徴とする車両用窓ガラス。
- 請求項3に記載の車両用窓ガラスにおいて、前記追加層(40)は前記液晶配列(28)に隣接することを特徴とする車両用窓ガラス。
- 請求項3に記載の車両用窓ガラスにおいて、前記追加層(40)は前記偏光子層(30)に隣接することを特徴とする車両用窓ガラス。

- 請求項10又は11に記載の車両用窓ガラスにおいて、前記接着層(22,38)は、アクリレート層、熱可塑性ポリウレタン層、エポキシ層、シリコーン層、ポリエチレン層又はエチレン酢酸ビニル(EVA)やポリビニルブチラール(PVB)等の架橋材の層から形成されていることを特徴とする車両用窓ガラス。
- 請求項3から7及び9のいずれか1項に記載の車両用窓ガラスにおいて、前記追加層(40)は、アクリレート層、熱可塑性ポリウレタン層、エポキシ層、シリコーン層、ポリエチレン層、エチレン酢酸ビニル(EVA)やポリビニルブチラール(PVB)等の架橋材の層、又は、特にポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)、ポリカーボネート(PC)若しくは環状オレフィン共重合体(COC)から構成される透明な樹脂フィルム層によって形成されていることを特徴とする車両用窓ガラス。
- 請求項1から13のいずれか1項に記載の車両用窓ガラスにおいて、前記液晶セル(36)の縁部が5mmから40mmの幅を有することを特徴とする車両用窓ガラス。
