Description
Claims (20)
- 家庭用電子製品の筐体であって、
側壁を有する第1の金属筐体部分であって、前記側壁は、そこに形成されたマイクロ特徴部を含み、前記マイクロ特徴部は第1のリブと第2のリブを画定し、前記第1のリブと前記第2のリブは前記側壁から延び、前記側壁は内容積を画定し、前記第1の金属筐体部分は高周波(RF)信号を放出するように構成されたRFアンテナに結合されている、第1の金属筐体部分と、
底壁を有する第2の金属筐体部分であって、前記底壁は、前記側壁の少なくとも1つとともにチャネルを画定する、インデントを有するエッジを含み、第1及び第2の金属筐体部分は前記チャネルにより分離されている、第2の金属筐体部分と、
前記第1及び第2の金属筐体部分をインターロックし電気的に絶縁するように、前記チャネル及び前記マイクロ特徴部を埋める誘電体エレメントであって、前記誘電体エレメントは第1の誘電体エレメント及び第2の誘電体エレメントを含み、前記第1の誘電体エレメントは前記第1及び第2の金属筐体部分と機械的にインターロックし、前記第2の誘電体エレメントは前記チャネルを部分的に埋め前記筐体の外面を画定する、誘電体エレメントと、
を含む、家庭用電子製品の筐体。 - 前記マイクロ特徴部のうちの少なくとも1つは、第1の長手方向軸を有することを特徴とする第1の貫通穴を含む、請求項1に記載の家庭用電子製品の筐体。
- 前記マイクロ特徴部のうちの少なくとも1つは、第2の長手方向軸を有することを特徴とする第2の貫通穴を含み、前記第2の貫通穴は前記第1の貫通穴に対してゼロではない角度に向いている、請求項2に記載の家庭用電子製品の筐体。
- 前記側壁は、前記内容積を画定し覆う透明保護カバーを受け入れることができるプラットフォームを画定する上部エッジを含む、請求項3に記載の家庭用電子製品の筐体。
- 前記第1の誘電体エレメントと前記第2の誘電体エレメントとは、前記チャネルを埋めるように結びついている、請求項1に記載の家庭用電子製品の筐体。
- 前記第1の誘電体エレメントは前記内容積を画定する内面を含む、請求項1に記載の家庭用電子製品の筐体。
- 前記誘電体エレメントは、固体状態にある、ある量のデュアルステート材料を含む、請求項1に記載の家庭用電子製品の筐体。
- 前記マイクロ特徴部が段層インターロックを有する、請求項1に記載の家庭用電子製品の筐体。
- 前記段層インターロックは、第1の段層及び第2の段層を含み、前記第1の段層は前記第2の段層よりも小さい、請求項8に記載の家庭用電子製品の筐体。
- 電子デバイスのエンクロージャを製造する方法であって、
第1の金属筐体部分の側壁に、マイクロ特徴部を形成することであって、前記マイクロ特徴部は、第1のリブと第2のリブを有し、前記側壁は内容積を画定し、前記第1の金属筐体部分は高周波(RF)信号を放出するように構成されたRFアンテナに結合される、形成することと、
第2の金属筐体部分に、インデントを有するエッジを含む底壁を形成することと、
前記第1の金属筐体部分を前記第2の金属筐体部分と結合することであって、前記インデントと前記側壁の少なくとも1つとはチャネルを画定し、第1及び第2の金属筐体部分は前記チャネルにより分離される、結合することと、
前記第1及び第2の金属筐体部分をインターロックして電気的に絶縁するように、誘電体エレメントで前記チャネル及び前記マイクロ特徴部を埋めることであって、前記誘電体エレメントは第1の誘電体エレメント及び第2の誘電体エレメントを含み、前記第1の誘電体エレメントは前記第1及び第2の金属筐体部分と機械的にインターロックし、前記第2の誘電体エレメントは前記チャネルを部分的に埋め筐体の外面を画定する、埋めることと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記側壁は、第1の貫通穴を有する第1の壁と、第2の貫通穴を有する第2の壁と、を含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の貫通穴は前記第2の貫通穴に対してゼロではない角度に向いている、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記側壁は、前記内容積を画定し覆う保護カバーを受け入れることができるプラットフォームを画定するエッジを含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記誘電体エレメントは、デュアルステート材料を含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の誘電体エレメント及び前記第2の誘電体エレメントは前記チャネルを埋めるように結びついている、請求項10に記載の方法。
- ポータブル電子デバイスのための筐体であって、

底壁を有する底部筐体部分であって、前記底壁は前記側壁の少なくとも1つとともにチャネルを画定するインデントを有するエッジを含み、角部及び前記底部筐体部分は前記チャネルにより分離されている、前記底部筐体部分と、
前記角部及び前記底部筐体部分をインターロックし電気的に絶縁するように、前記チャネル及び前記マイクロ特徴部を埋める誘電体エレメントであって、前記誘電体エレメントは第1の誘電体エレメント及び第2の誘電体エレメントを含み、前記第1の誘電体エレメントは前記角部及び底部筐体部分と機械的にインターロックし、前記第2の誘電体エレメントは前記チャネルを部分的に埋め前記筐体の外面を画定する、誘電体エレメントと、
を備える、筐体。 - 前記角部筐体部分はRFアンテナを備える、請求項16に記載の筐体。
- 前記マイクロ特徴部は前記底壁に対してゼロではない角度に向いている、請求項16に記載の筐体。
- 前記第1の誘電体エレメント及び前記第2の誘電体エレメントは前記チャネルを埋めるように結びついている、請求項16に記載の筐体。
- 前記第1の誘電体エレメントは、前記内容積を部分的に画定する内面を含む、請求項16に記載の筐体。
