Description
Claims (4)
- 筒内に直接燃料を噴射する燃料噴射弁と、
前記燃料噴射弁から噴射された燃料に直接火花点火する点火プラグと、
を備え、
前記燃料噴射弁は、前記点火プラグの周囲に向けて混合気を噴射することで成層混合気を生成する複数の噴射孔を有する内燃機関の制御方法において、
機関始動時における機関回転速度の実際の変化の挙動である実挙動を、予め設定した基準挙動と比較し、
前記実挙動が前記基準挙動と異なる場合に、
前記燃料噴射弁から噴射されて前記点火プラグの周りに滞在する燃料噴霧に直接火花点火する成層燃焼から、燃焼室内に均質な混合気を形成して燃料を燃焼させる均質燃焼へ切り替え、前記内燃機関の機械的圧縮比を前記実挙動と前記基準挙動とが一致する場合よりも高めるとともに、前記燃料噴射弁の先端に付着した付着物を除去するための付着物除去制御を実行する、ように構成され、
前記付着物除去制御は、前記実挙動と前記基準挙動とが一致する場合に比べて燃料噴射圧力を高くする制御であり、
前記制御方法は、前記実挙動と前記基準挙動とが一致する場合には、前記付着物除去制御を実行せずに、前記点火プラグの点火タイミングの遅角下で成層燃焼を行う成層ファストアイドル制御を実行し、
前記内燃機関のクランキング開始から前記成層ファストアイドル制御が実行されるまでの間に、前記点火プラグの点火タイミングを遅角させずに前記成層燃焼を行う始動時成層燃焼制御を実行するように、さらに構成される、
内燃機関の制御方法。 - 請求項1に記載された内燃機関の制御方法において、
前記挙動は、内燃機関が燃焼を開始した後の前記機関回転速度の上昇の傾きである、
内燃機関の制御方法。 - 請求項1に記載の内燃機関の制御方法において、
前記付着物除去制御を所定期間実行したら、前記均質燃焼から前記成層燃焼へ切り替える、
内燃機関の制御方法。 - 筒内に直接燃料を噴射する燃料噴射弁と、
前記燃料噴射弁から噴射された燃料に直接火花点火する点火プラグと、
機関回転速度を取得するセンサと、
機械的圧縮比を変更する可変圧縮比機構と、
前記燃料噴射弁、前記点火プラグ及び前記可変圧縮比機構を制御する制御部と、
を備え、
前記燃料噴射弁は、前記点火プラグの周囲に向けて混合気を噴射することで成層混合気を生成する複数の噴射孔を有する内燃機関の制御装置において、
前記制御部は、
機関始動時における機関回転速度の実際の変化の挙動を予め設定した基準挙動と比較し、前記実際の変化の挙動と前記基準挙動とが異なる場合に、
前記燃料噴射弁から噴射されて前記点火プラグの周りに滞在する燃料噴霧に直接火花点火する成層燃焼から、燃焼室内に均質な混合気を形成して燃料を燃焼させる均質燃焼へ切り替え、前記内燃機関の機械的圧縮比を燃焼の切り替え前よりも高めるとともに、燃料噴射弁の先端に付着した付着物を除去するための付着物除去制御を実行する、ように構成され、
前記付着物除去制御は、前記実挙動と前記基準挙動とが一致する場合に比べて燃料噴射圧力を高くする制御であり、
前記制御部は、前記実挙動と前記基準挙動とが一致する場合には、前記付着物除去制御を実行せずに、前記点火プラグの点火タイミングの遅角下で成層燃焼を行う成層ファストアイドル制御を実行し、
前記内燃機関のクランキング開始から前記成層ファストアイドル制御が実行されるまでの間に、前記点火プラグの点火タイミングを遅角させずに前記成層燃焼を行う始動時成層燃焼制御を実行するように、さらに構成される、
内燃機関の制御装置。
