Description
血管壁へ光学放射を誘導するとともに血管壁からの反射放射を受け取るように構成されるカテーテルベース撮像装置と、
撮像スキャン中にカテーテルに対する撮像装置の位置を時間の関数として変化させるように構成される変位機構と、
心臓事象タイミングデータを患者から受け取るように構成される入力と、
心臓事象タイミングデータに基づいて撮像スキャンを開始するように構成されるトリガモジュールと、
を包含する、患者を撮像するためのカテーテルベース光学撮像システムを提供する。
変位機構が、連続する画像データフレームが異なる長手方向位置に対応するようにカテーテルの長手軸縁に沿って光学素子を駆動するように構成される長手方向変位機構を包含し、
トリガモジュールが、検出された心臓事象を参照して変位機構により光学素子の長手方向変位を開始するように構成される、
ように、撮像システムが構成されうる。
カテーテルベース撮像装置を患者の血管へ導入するステップであって、光学放射を血管壁へ誘導するとともに血管壁からの反射放射を受け取るように撮像装置が構成されるステップと、
心臓事象タイミングデータを患者から取得するステップと、
心臓事象タイミングに基づいて撮像スキャンを開始するステップと、
変位機構を使用して、撮像スキャンの間にカテーテルに対する撮像装置の位置を時間の関数として変化させるステップと、
を包含する、患者の血管内での光学撮像方法を提供する。
近位端部から遠位端部へ軸方向にカテーテルに沿って延在する光学経路と、
軸方向光学路から、カテーテル長手軸線から血管壁へ径方向に延出する径方向光学路まで光学放射を誘導するとともに、血管壁からの反射放射を受け取るように構成される、カテーテルの遠位端部に配設される光学素子と、
を包含し、
光学素子が、径方向光学路の方向を変化させるようにカテーテル長手軸縁を中心に回転可能であり、
光学素子が、第1透過性境界面と第2透過性境界面と第1反射面とを包含する、

Claims (3)
- 患者を撮像するためのカテーテルベース光学撮像システムであって、
近位端部から遠位端部へ軸方向にカテーテルに延在する軸方向光学経路と、
前記軸方向光学経路から、前記カテーテル長手軸線から血管壁に向かって径方向に延在する径方向光学経路へ光学放射を誘導するとともに、前記血管壁からの反射放射を受け取るように構成されて、前記カテーテルの前記遠位端部に配設される光学素子と、
前記カテーテルの前記遠位端部に設けられ、前記光学素子を回転させるように前記光学素子に直接結合されたモータと、を包含し、
前記光学素子が、前記径方向光学経路の方向を変化させるように前記カテーテル長手軸線を中心として回転可能であり、
前記光学素子が、前記軸方向に前記カテーテルに延在する前記軸方向光学経路に光学的に接続される第1透過性境界面と、前記径方向光学経路に光学的に接続される第2透過性境界面と、前記第1透過性境界面と前記第2透過性境界面とを光学的に接続し前記光学素子の中にある第1反射面とを有する単一構造を有し、
前記第1透過性境界面と前記第2透過性境界面と前記第1反射面とのうち少なくとも一つが集束素子を有し、
前記光学素子が前記モータと前記カテーテルの前記近位端部との間に設けられている、
撮像システム。 - 各前記集束素子が凹面か凸面または境界面を有する、請求項1に記載の撮像システム。
