Description
試料1、90/10 PEBT:メカニカルスターラー、蒸留装置、および底部排水弁を備えた1Lのパーリアクター(Parr reactor)に、Reichhold製解重合再生PET604.73g、1,4−ブタンジオール28.42g、およびSn触媒Fascat 4100の2gを加えた。この混合物を窒素パージ(1scfh)下、160℃に熱し、その後3時間にわたりゆっくりと195℃まで上昇させ、さらにもう18時間維持して、1,4−ブタンジオールと解重合PETの間でエステル交換をさせた。この混合物を次に190℃から210℃に1時間かけて熱し、その後減圧して過剰のブタンジオールを除去し、重縮合させた。この混合物をその後、軟化点が175℃に達するまで減圧下215℃で熱した。
樹脂フィラメントは、メルトフローインデックス(MFI)機器を用いて、樹脂の試料を加熱したバレルで溶融し、一定の荷重下、特定の径のオリフィスを通して押し出すことによって製造した。この樹脂フィラメントの機械的性質は、インストロン引張試験システムを用いて測定し、市販のABSおよびPLAの3D材料と比較した。これらの結果は、市販の3D材料と同様のインストロンの結果を与える、比が60/40のPEBTが最も期待できる樹脂であることを示している。
PET/BDO比が70/30のPEBT樹脂を粗粉砕機を用いて250ミクロン未満まで、その後ジェットミルで平均粒径約5ミクロンまで粉砕した。5ミクロンのものの粒径分布を以下に示す。
Claims (9)
- 1,4−ブタンジオール(BDO)モノマー単位および解重合された再生ポリエチレンテレフタレートを含むポリエステル樹脂であるとともに、100ミクロンから500ミクロンの範囲の粒径の粉体形状で提供される前記ポリエステル樹脂を含む、3Dプリント用の組成物。
- 前記組成物が、前記ポリエステル樹脂からなる、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物が複合体であって、さらにマトリクス材料を含み、前記ポリエステル樹脂がその中に配置される、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の組成物。
- 前記マトリクス材料が、ポリ(1,4−ブチレンテレフタレート)、コポリ(1,4−ブチレンテレフタレート)−コポリ(1,2−エチレンテレフタレート)、ポリ(1,3−プロピレンテレフタレート)、コポリ(1,3−プロピレンテレフタレート)−コポリ(1,2−エチレンテレフタレート)、ポリ(1,2−プロピレンテレフタレート)、およびコポリ(1,2−プロピレンテレフタレート)−コポリ(1,2−エチレンテレフタレート)からなる群から選ばれる、請求項3に記載のポリエステル組成物。
- 前記BDOモノマー単位が、前記ポリエステルの10から55モル%の範囲の量で存在する、請求項1〜請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 触媒の存在下、1,4−ブタンジオール(BDO)モノマー単位および解重合された再生ポリエチレンテレフタレートを含む混合物を共重合するとともに、共重合が150℃から220℃の範囲の温度で行われ、さらに、減圧下、過剰のBDOモノマー単位を除去することを含む、ポリエステル樹脂の製造方法。
- 前記触媒が、錫を主成分とする、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 3Dプリント用のポリエステル樹脂を基材上に供給するとともに、前記ポリエステル樹脂が、1,4−ブタンジオール(BDO)モノマー単位を10モル%から40モル%および解重合された再生ポリエチレンテレフタレートを60モル%から90モル%含み、前記ポリエステル樹脂が、場合により複合体としてマトリクス材料に配置され、さらに、前記ポリエステル樹脂または前記その複合体を選択的レーザ焼結にかけて前記基材上に3D物体を形成することを含む、3Dプリント方法。
- 前記ポリエステル樹脂が、100ミクロンから300ミクロンの範囲の粒径の粉体形状である、請求項8に記載の方法。
