Claims (4)
- 互いに重ねられた複数のフレキシブルな鋼リング(32)から成る駆動ベルト(3)用のリングセット(31)を大量生産する方法であって、複数のフレキシブルな鋼リング(32)を互いに重ねて、前記リングセット(31)を形成する処理ステップ(VIII)と、該処理ステップ(VIII)に続く処理ステップ(IX)であって、前記リングセット(31)の前記リング(32)に、前記リングセット(31)の全体として熱処理によって窒化表面層を施与する処理ステップ(IX)と、を含む方法において、
当該方法は、前記熱処理の継続時間を変化させるように設定されており、
前記熱処理において、アンモニアガスを含有する加熱されたガス雰囲気中に前記リング(32)を入れ、前記ガス雰囲気中のアンモニアの温度及び量を一定に保ち、
前記熱処理の後に、実地において一定の間隔で、複数の熱処理されたリング及びリングセット(31)から前記リング(32)を取り出し、選択された1つのリング(32)の窒化表面層の実際の厚さを測定し、測定した窒化物層厚さを、窒化物層厚さの所望の値と比較し、所望の値が、測定した窒化表面層の実際の厚さよりも小さい場合には、両者のずれに比例して、前記熱処理の継続時間を短縮し、或いは所望の値が、測定した窒化表面層の実際の厚さよりも大きい場合には、両者のずれに比例して、前記熱処理の継続時間を延長することを特徴とする、駆動ベルト(3)用のリングセット(31)を大量生産する方法。 - 前記熱処理において、前記ガス雰囲気中のアンモニアの量は、12体積%を上回る、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記熱処理において、前記ガス雰囲気は、アンモニアに加えて更に窒素ガスと水素ガスとから成っており、前記ガス雰囲気中のアンモニア、窒素及び水素の量を一定に保つ、請求項1又は2記載の方法。
- 前記熱処理において、前記ガス雰囲気の温度は、400〜475℃の範囲内の値を有している、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
