Description
Claims (5)
- 排気浄化用触媒コンバータを備えるとともに、スロットル弁下流から負圧が供給されるブレーキブースタを備えた内燃機関の制御方法であって、
上記触媒コンバータの暖機を促進すべきアイドル運転時に、
大気圧を検出し、
検出した大気圧を所定の大気圧閾値と比較し、
大気圧が上記大気圧閾値よりも高いときは、所定のアイドル回転速度の維持に必要な吸気圧に上記触媒コンバータの暖機を促進するために必要な熱効率低下相当分を上乗せした第1の目標吸気圧に吸気圧を制御し、
大気圧が上記大気圧閾値よりも低いときは、上記ブレーキブースタに必要な差圧が得られる範囲内で最も高い第2の目標吸気圧に吸気圧を制御し、
ここで、上記大気圧閾値は、標高に対して変化する上記第1の目標吸気圧と上記第2の目標吸気圧とが互いに一致する標高における大気圧に設定される、内燃機関の制御方法。 - 上記触媒コンバータの暖機を促進すべきアイドル運転時に、点火時期リタードを併せて行う、請求項1に記載の内燃機関の制御方法。
- 上記第1の目標吸気圧は、大気圧が低いほど低くなる傾向の特性を有する、請求項1または2に記載の内燃機関の制御方法。
- 上記スロットル弁の開度制御により上記の吸気圧の制御を行う、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の制御方法。
- 排気浄化用触媒コンバータを備えるとともに、スロットル弁下流から負圧が供給されるブレーキブースタを備えた内燃機関の制御装置であって、
上記触媒コンバータの暖機状態を検出する温度検出部と、
内燃機関がアイドル運転にあることを検出するアイドル検出部と、
大気圧を検出する大気圧検出部と、
検出した大気圧を所定の大気圧閾値と比較する比較部と、
上記触媒コンバータの暖機を促進すべきアイドル運転時に、大気圧が上記大気圧閾値よりも高いときは、所定のアイドル回転速度の維持に必要な吸気圧に上記触媒コンバータの暖機を促進するために必要な熱効率低下相当分を上乗せした第1の目標吸気圧を得るようにスロットル開度を制御し、大気圧が上記大気圧閾値よりも低いときは、上記ブレーキブースタに必要な差圧が得られる範囲内で最も高い第2の目標吸気圧を得るようにスロットル開度を制御する、スロットル制御部と、
を備えてなり、
上記大気圧閾値は、標高に対して変化する上記第1の目標吸気圧と上記第2の目標吸気圧とが互いに一致する標高における大気圧に設定されている、内燃機関の制御装置。
