Description
図1〜図13は本発明に係るプロペラシャフト及びプロペラシャフトの連結方法の第1実施形態を示し、図1はプロペラシャフトの全体の形態を表した当該プロペラシャフトの側面図である。なお、以下の説明では、便宜上、図1の左側を「前」、右側を「後」として説明すると共に、図1の回転中心軸線に沿う方向を「軸方向」、前記回転中心軸線周りの方向を「周方向」として説明する。
このプロペラシャフト1は、図示外のトランスミッションに連係する入力軸2に第1等速ジョイントJ1を介して一体回転可能に連結された駆動軸4と、図示外のディファレンシャルに連係する出力軸3に第2等速ジョイントJ2を介して一体回転可能に連結された従動軸5と、を備え、前記両軸4,5が第3等速ジョイントJ3を介して一体回転可能に連結されると共に、この第3等速ジョイントJ3付近に設けられた、周知のブラケット6を介して図示外の車体に懸架されるセンターベアリング7を介して回転自在に支持されている。なお、前記駆動軸4と前記従動軸5とにより、本発明に係るシャフト部が構成されている。
以下、本実施形態に係るプロペラシャフトと出力軸との連結方法について、図11〜図13に基づいて説明する。なお、図11は連結前の状態、図12は連結途中の状態、図13は連結完了の状態、をそれぞれ示している。また、各図中の(a)はプロペラシャフト及び出力軸を側方から見た図を示し、(b)は同図(a)のD−D線断面図を示している。
以上のように、本実施形態に係るプロペラシャフト1は、1対の車両側回転軸である入力軸2と出力軸3との間に介装される前記シャフト部と、該シャフト部と一体回転可能に設けられ、内周側に前記車両側回転軸が挿入される筒状部30と、該筒状部30の一部の周方向範囲に貫通形成され、筒状部30の内周側に前記車両側回転軸を挿入した状態で該車両側回転軸の外周側に設けられた係止溝14と径方向に対向する貫通孔31,32と、筒状部30に外周側から嵌着され、周方向の一部が筒状部30の外周側を包囲し、かつ他の周方向の一部が貫通孔31,32を介して内周側に臨んで係止溝14に係入可能に設けられたサークリップ8と、を備えている。
図15は本発明に係るプロペラシャフトの第2実施形態を示し、前記第1実施形態に係るサークリップ8の形状を変更したものである。なお、かかる変更点以外の基本的な構成については前記第1実施形態と同様であるため、該第1実施形態と同一の構成については、同一の符号を付すことによってその説明を省略する(以下の実施形態において同じ)。
図16は本発明に係るプロペラシャフトの第3実施形態を示し、前記第1実施形態に係るサークリップ8の形状を変更したものである。
図17は本発明に係るプロペラシャフトの第4実施形態を示し、前記第1実施形態に係るサークリップ8の形状を変更したものである。
図18は本発明に係るプロペラシャフトの第5実施形態を示し、前記第1実施形態に係るサークリップ8の形状を変更したものである。
図19は本発明に係るプロペラシャフトの第6実施形態を示し、前記第3実施形態に係るサークリップ82の形状を変更したものである。

Claims (23)
前記シャフト部と一体回転可能に設けられ、内周側に前記車両側回転軸が挿入される筒状部と、
前記筒状部の一部の周方向範囲に貫通形成され、前記筒状部の内周側に前記車両側回転軸を挿入した状態で該車両側回転軸の外周側に設けられた係止溝と径方向に対向する貫通孔と、
前記筒状部に外周側から嵌着され、周方向の一部が前記筒状部の外周側を包囲し、かつ他の周方向の一部が前記貫通孔を介して内周側に臨んで前記係止溝に係入可能に設けられたサークリップと、
を備え、
前記係止溝は、底面と該底面の前記回転中心軸線の軸方向両側に設けられた1対の立ち上がり面とを有し、
前記1対の立ち上がり面のうち前記車両側回転軸の引き抜き方向と反対側の立ち上がり面は、該立ち上がり面と前記回転中心軸線とのなす角のうち前記係止溝側の角度が90°よりも大きく180°よりも小さく、前記係止溝の底面から前記係止溝の開口縁に至るまでの全体が傾斜状に形成されていることを特徴とするプロペラシャフト。
前記サークリップは、前記仮想線に対して線対称に設けられることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のプロペラシャフト。
この切除された断面のうち前記回転中心軸線の周方向の両端部に1対の平面部が形成され、
前記1対の平面部は、前記仮想線と平行に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のプロペラシャフト。
前記回転中心軸線を通り、かつ該回転中心軸線と直交する仮想線を第2仮想線としたとき、前記第1貫通孔及び前記第2貫通孔は前記第2仮想線に対して線対称に形成され、
前記保持溝は、前記第2仮想線に対して線対称に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のプロペラシャフト。
前記サークリップは、前記第1貫通孔に挿通される第1挿通部と、前記第2貫通孔に挿通される第2挿通部と、前記第1挿通部の周方向一端部と前記第2挿通部の周方向一端部とを接続する接続部と、前記第1挿通部の周方向他端側に延設された第1係合部と、前記第2挿通部の周方向他端側に延設された第2係合部と、を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプロペラシャフト。
前記シャフト部と一体回転可能に設けられ、内周側に前記車両側回転軸が挿入される筒状部と、
前記筒状部の一部の周方向範囲に貫通形成され、前記筒状部の内周側に前記車両側回転軸を挿入した状態で該車両側回転軸の外周側に設けられた係止溝と径方向に対向する貫通孔と、
前記筒状部に外周側から嵌着され、周方向の一部が前記筒状部の外周側を包囲し、かつ他の周方向の一部が前記貫通孔を介して内周側に臨んで前記係止溝に係入可能に設けられたサークリップと、
を備え、
前記車両側回転軸は、前記筒状部の先端部と対向する位置に、前記車両側回転軸を前記筒状部に適切に挿入した状態で該筒状部によって覆い隠される着色部を有することを特徴とするプロペラシャフト。
前記シャフト部と一体回転可能に設けられ、内周側に前記車両側回転軸が挿入される筒状部と、
前記筒状部の一部の周方向範囲に貫通形成され、前記筒状部の内周側に前記車両側回転軸を挿入した状態で該車両側回転軸の外周側に設けられた係止溝と径方向に対向する貫通孔と、
前記筒状部に外周側から嵌着され、周方向の一部が前記筒状部の外周側を包囲し、かつ他の周方向の一部が前記貫通孔を介して内周側に臨んで前記係止溝に係入可能に設けられたサークリップと、
を備え、
前記筒状部又は前記サークリップは、前記サークリップが前記筒状部に嵌着された状態で前記筒状部又は前記サークリップの周方向の一部をかしめてなるカシメ部を有することを特徴とするプロペラシャフト。
前記サークリップは、前記第1貫通孔に挿通される第1挿通部と、前記第2貫通孔に挿通される第2挿通部と、前記第1挿通部の周方向一端部と前記第2挿通部の周方向一端部とを接続する接続部と、を有することを特徴とする請求項21に記載のプロペラシャフト。
