Claims (4)
- 一方面側に正極が形成され、他方面側に負極が形成された電極板からなるバイポーラ電極を有する蓄電装置であって、
前記蓄電装置は、ニッケル水素二次電池であり、
セパレータを介して前記バイポーラ電極を積層してなる積層体と、
前記積層体を取り囲むように筒状に形成され、前記バイポーラ電極の積層によって形成された前記積層体の側面において前記電極板の縁部をその内壁に埋没させて保持する枠体と、
前記積層体を挟み込む一対の拘束プレートと、前記一対の拘束プレート同士を連結する連結部材とを有し、前記積層体に対して積層方向に拘束荷重を付加する拘束部材と、を備え、
前記積層方向から見て、前記正極及び前記負極は、いずれも略矩形状をなし、前記拘束荷重による前記バイポーラ電極の前記正極及び前記負極への応力集中を緩和するように、前記正極の形成領域は、前記負極の形成領域の内側に位置しており、かつ前記略矩形状の前記正極の角部は、丸みを帯びた形状に形成されている、蓄電装置。 - 前記負極の角部は、丸みを帯びた形状に形成されている、請求項1記載の蓄電装置。
- 前記正極の角部の曲率は、前記負極の角部の曲率よりも小さくなっている、請求項2記載の蓄電装置。
- 前記正極の角部の曲率は、前記負極の角部の曲率よりも大きくなっている、請求項2記載の蓄電装置。
