Description
精製及び濃縮後の無水糖アルコールは、特に高温の夏に、pHの低下及びUV透過率の低下の問題を有する。
ソルビトール粉末(D−ソルビトール、Samyang Genex Inc.製)1,200gを撹拌付き4口ガラス反応器に入れ、110℃に昇温して、溶解した。ここに、濃硫酸(Duksan Chemical社製、95%)12gとメタンスルホン酸(シグマ社製、70%)7.2gをそれぞれ投入し、反応混合物温度を135℃に昇温した。この温度を維持しながら、4時間、40torrの真空条件下で脱水反応を行って、出発物質のソルビトールを無水糖アルコールのイソソルビドに変換した。その後、反応混合物の温度を110℃まで冷却し、50%水酸化ナトリウム溶液(Samjeon Pure Chemical社製)31.2gを添加して、反応生成液を中和した。
加熱可能なジャケット付き反応器を80℃に維持し、前記製造例で得られた濃縮された無水糖アルコール1000g(水分含量:0.3重量%)を添加し、撹拌しながら溶融した。溶融した無水糖アルコールの20重量%水溶液のpHは5.8であった。この反応器に2,2,6,6−テトラメチルピペリジン(TMP)10mg(無水糖アルコールに対する重量比10ppm)を添加して、5分間撹拌し、冷却して固相の無水糖アルコールを得た。得られた固相無水糖アルコールの20重量%水溶液の室温(25±3℃)で測定したpHは6.3であり、5cm石英セルを用いて275nmで測定したUV透過率は95%であった。
アミン系添加剤としてTMPの代わりに、1,5−ジアザビシクロ[4.3.0]ノン−5−エン(1,5−diazabicyclo[4.3.0]non−5−ene(DBN))20mg(無水糖アルコールに対する重量比20ppm)を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして、固相の無水糖アルコールを得た。得られた固相の無水糖アルコールの20重量%水溶液の室温で測定したpHは8.1であり、5cm石英セルを用いて275nmで測定したUV透過率は93%であった。
アミン系添加剤としてTMPの代わりに1,8−ジアザビシクロウンデカ−7−エン(1,8−diazabicycloundec−7−ene(DBU))40mg(無水糖アルコールに対する重量比40ppm)を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして、固相の無水糖アルコールを得た。得られた固相の無水糖アルコールの20重量%水溶液の室温で測定したpHは7.9であり、5cm石英セルを用いて275nmで測定したUV透過率は94%であった。
添加剤としてTMPの代わりに抗酸化剤のアスコルビン酸50mg(無水糖アルコールに対する重量比50ppm)を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして、固相の無水糖アルコールを得た。得られた固相無水糖アルコールの20重量%水溶液の室温で測定したpHは4.5であり、5cm石英セルを用いて275nmで測定したUV透過率は93%であった。
添加剤としてTMPの代わりに抗酸化剤の1−メチルイミダゾール(pKa:6.95)20mg(無水糖アルコールに対する重量比20ppm)を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして、固相の無水糖アルコールを得た。得られた固相の無水糖アルコールの20重量%水溶液の室温で測定したpHは7.3であり、5cm石英セルを用いて275nmで測定したUV透過率は94%であった。
TMPを用いないことを除いては、実施例1と同様にして、固相の無水糖アルコールを得た。得られた固相の無水糖アルコールの20重量%水溶液の室温で測定したpHは5.5であり、5cm石英セルを用いて275nmで測定したUV透過率は95%であった。
Claims (9)
- 濃縮された無水糖アルコール;及び
安定化添加剤としてアミン化合物;
を含み、
前記濃縮された無水糖アルコールが、固体形態のジアンヒドロヘキシトールであり、
前記アミン化合物が、線状又は分岐状C1−C10アルキル、C3−C10シクロアルキル、アミノC1−C10アルキル、モノ−又はジ−C1−C10アルキルアミノC1−C10アルキル、カルボキサミド及びアミノから選ばれた置換基で置換されるか非置換の、ピペリジン、1,8−ジアザビシクロウンデカ−7−エン、1,5−ジアザビシクロ[4.3.0]ノン−5−エン及びこれらの組み合わせから選ばれ、
前記アミン化合物の含量が、前記濃縮された無水糖アルコール重量に対して1ppm以上、300ppm以下である、濃縮された無水糖アルコールを含む組成物。 - 前記アミン化合物のpKaが、8〜15であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の濃縮された無水糖アルコールを含む組成物。
- 20重量%濃度の水溶液に希釈した時の波長275nmの紫外線(UV)に対する透過率が90%以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の濃縮された無水糖アルコールを含む組成物。
- 20重量%濃度の水溶液に希釈した時のpHが6〜8であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の濃縮された無水糖アルコールを含む組成物。
- 濃縮された無水糖アルコールを、安定化添加剤としてアミン化合物と無水糖アルコールとを混合して保存する方法であって、
前記濃縮された無水糖アルコールが、ヘキシトールを脱水反応して得られた脱水反応生成液を蒸留し、蒸留物を結晶化し、結晶化生成物を脱色し、脱色生成物をカチオン性イオン交換樹脂処理に続くアニオン性イオン交換樹脂処理し、その生成物を濃縮して得られた固体形態のジアンヒドロヘキシトールであり、
前記アミン化合物が、線状又は分岐状C1−C10アルキル、C3−C10シクロアルキル、アミノC1−C10アルキル、モノ−又はジ−C1−C10アルキルアミノC1−C10アルキル、カルボキサミド及びアミノから選ばれた置換基で置換されるか非置換の、ピペリジン、1,8−ジアザビシクロウンデカ−7−エン、1,5−ジアザビシクロ[4.3.0]ノン−5−エン及びこれらの組み合わせから選ばれ、
前記濃縮された無水糖アルコール重量に対して、前記アミン化合物の含量が、1ppm以上、300ppm以下で混合されることを特徴とする濃縮された無水糖アルコールの保存方法。 - 前記アミン化合物のpKaが、8〜15であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記ヘキシトールの脱水反応において、硫酸、硝酸、塩酸、リン酸、p−トルエンスルホン酸、メタンスルホン酸、エタンスルホン酸、ベンゼンスルホン酸、ナフタレンスルホン酸及び硫酸アルミニウムよりなる群から選ばれる1種以上の酸触媒が用いられることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記蒸留が薄膜蒸留器を用いて行われることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記濃縮が、90℃〜110℃の温度及び10mmHg〜100mmHgの圧力条件下で30分〜4時間行われることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。
