Description
本実施形態では、n層目の焼結層の上面に、n層目の焼結層の上に形成されるn+1層目の焼結層の厚み以上の高さを有する変形部が生じた場合、本来のn+1層目のレーザ照射領域から変形部が生じた領域を除外した修正後のn+1層目の造形データD4を生成し、造形データD4に基づいてn+1層目の粉末層にレーザ照射を行い、変形部が生じた領域を除いた領域が焼結されたn+1層目の焼結層を形成する。そして、変形部が生じた領域は、変形部の上にn+1層目の粉末層とn+2層目の粉末層とを形成した後に焼結される。これにより、上述した変形が特定箇所に継続的に生じることを防止し、造形中の造形物を変形部が生じる前の状態にリセットすることができる。従って、粉末層形成時のブレードの引っ掛かりを未然に防止することができる。

Claims (2)
- 作成目標とする造形物の造形データに基づき、造形テーブル上に形成された金属の材料粉末からなる各粉末層の所定領域にレーザを照射し、焼結層を積層形成する造形物の造形方法であり、最も上側に位置するn層目の焼結層に前記粉末層の厚みよりも小さい高さを有する変形部が発生する場合の造形物の造形方法であって、
前記n層目の焼結層の上面の3次元形状データを取得する3次元形状データ取得工程と、
前記3次元形状データに基づき、前記n層目の焼結層の上面に対して凸となる高さの変形部が生じているか否かを検知する変形部検出工程と、
前記変形部が生じている場合、前記変形部が生じた領域の座標データを含む2次元データを生成する2次元データ生成工程と、
事前に作成されたn+1層目の造形データと前記2次元データの座標を一致させて比較し、前記n+1層目の造形データにて定義されたレーザ照射領域から前記2次元データにて定義された前記変形部が生じた領域を除外した、修正後のn+1層目の造形データを生成する修正後のn+1層目の造形データ生成工程と、
前記n層目の焼結層上に前記変形部が生じた領域を含むn+1層目の粉末層を形成するn+1層目の粉末層形成工程と、
前記修正後のn+1層目の造形データに基づき、前記n+1層目の粉末層にレーザを照射して焼結することによりn+1層目の焼結層を形成する、変形部が生じた領域を除くn+1層目の焼結層形成工程と、
前記n+1層目の焼結層上にn+2層目の粉末層を形成するn+2層目の粉末層形成工程と、
n+2層目の造形データに基づき、前記n+1層目の粉末層の前記変形部が生じた領域および前記n+2層目の粉末層にレーザを照射して焼結することにより、前記変形部が生じた領域の前記n+1層目の焼結層およびn+2層目の焼結層を形成する、前記変形部が生じた領域の前記n+1層目の焼結層およびn+2層目の焼結層形成工程と、を備えていることを特徴とする造形物の造形方法。 - 前記n+1層目の粉末層形成工程では、材料粉末が貯蓄されたリコータヘッドによって材料粉末を供給するとともに前記リコータヘッドに取り付けられたブラシ状のブラシブレードによって平坦化することにより、前記n層目の焼結層上に前記n+1層目の粉末層を形成することを特徴とする請求項1記載の造形物の造形方法。
