Claims (7)
- 通信アンテナと、回路駆動用のバッテリーと、前記通信アンテナを通じて受信された電磁波に含まれる電力を前記バッテリーに蓄電するとともに前記バッテリーの電圧に基づいて電源電圧を生成する機能を有した電源部と、リード・ライト用の高周波回路部とが基板に各々設けられたRFIDタグにおいて、
前記基板は多層基板であり、当該基板の内部には、誘電体層が導体層により上下から挟まれた構造のキャパシタが前記バッテリーとして設けられる一方、当該基板には当該バッテリーを前記電源部とは別に外部から給電するための給電手段が設けられることを特徴とするRFIDタグ。 - 請求項1記載のRFIDタグにおいて、
前記キャパシタを構成する導体層には、その実効面積増大のために金属微粒子が一面にわたって付着されていることを特徴とするRFIDタグ。 - 請求項1又は2記載のRFIDタグにおいて、
前記給電手段は、非接触給電用の給電コイルと、同コイルの両端に発生した電圧を整流するとともに当該電圧により前記バッテリーを充電する電源回路とを有した構成になっていることを特徴とするRFIDタグ。 - 請求項3記載のRFIDタグにおいて、
前記給電コイルは、前記基板に作成された薄膜インダクタであることを特徴とするRFIDタグ。 - 請求項1記載のRFIDタグにおいて、
前記通信アンテナは、プレーン層のグラウンドを有したパッチアンテナであって、前記グラウンドが前記導体層の一方と共通にされていることを特徴とするRFIDタグ。 - 請求項3乃至5記載のRFIDタグと、
当該RFIDタグに対する電磁誘導方式又は磁界共鳴方式による非接触給電に必要な磁界を生成する給電装置とを備えたRFIDタグの給電システム。 - 請求項6の給電装置を請求項3乃至5のRFIDタグに対して相対的に近接及び/又は移動させ、これにより当該RFIDタグを給電させることを特徴とするRFIDタグの給電方法。
