Claims (8)
- 固体高分子形燃料電池のカソード電極用の触媒であって、
0.010原子%以上15.1原子%以下の鉄と、窒素と、炭素と、を含むカーボンナノウォールからなることを特徴とする触媒。 - 請求項1に記載の触媒であって、
鉄の含有率は、0.07原子%以上15.1原子%以下であることを特徴とする触媒。 - 請求項1または2に記載の触媒であって、
窒素の含有率は、1.50原子%以上4.28原子%以下であることを特徴とする触媒。 - 請求項1から3のいずれか1つに記載の触媒であって、
炭素の含有率は、52.2原子%以上97.3原子%以下であることを特徴とする触媒。 - 請求項1から4のいずれか1つに記載の触媒であって、
ラマンスペクトルにおけるDバンドのピーク強度(ID)と、Gバンドのピーク強度(IG)との強度比(ID/IG)が、1.60以上2.09以下であることを特徴とする触媒。 - 請求項1から5のいずれか1つに記載の触媒をカソード電極に備えることを特徴とする固体高分子形燃料電池。
- 固体高分子形燃料電池のカソード電極用の触媒の製造方法であって、
炭素源ガスと、窒素源と、鉄源とを、プラズマ中で同時に反応させて、0.010原子%以上15.1原子%以下の鉄と、窒素と、炭素と、を含むカーボンナノウォールを形成することを特徴とする触媒の製造方法。 - 固体高分子形燃料電池のカソード電極の製造方法であって、
炭素源ガスと、窒素源と、鉄源とを、プラズマ中で同時に反応させて、600℃から800℃に加熱したガス拡散層の表面に、0.010原子%以上15.1原子%以下の鉄と、窒素と、炭素と、を含むカーボンナノウォールを直接成膜することを特徴とするカソード電極の製造方法。
