Description
図1は、本実施形態のコネクタの全体斜視図であり、平型導体の非挿入時(挿入前)で可動部材が開位置にある状態を示す。図2は図1のものを端子位置で断面をとったときの斜視図である。図3は図2のコネクタで可動部材が閉位置にきたときの斜視図である。また図4は、各種状態での断面を(A)〜(C)に示す断面図である。
次に、図5ないし図7にもとづき、本発明の第二実施形態について説明する。前実施形態では、端子10全体が金属板の平坦面を維持した形状であったが、本実施形態では、被規制部が板厚方向に屈曲して形成されている点に特徴がある。図5ないし図7では、端子10の被規制部とハウジング30の規制部のみが図1ないし図4に示された前実施形態と相違し、他の部位は同じであるので、図5ないし図7において図1ないし図4と共通する部位には同一符号を付しその説明は省略する。
次に、図8にもとづき、本発明の第三実施形態を説明する。図8(A),(B),(C)は、図4(A),(B),(C)にそれぞれ対応する状態で示されている。本実施形態は、被規制部が端子の後端ではなく前後方向中間位置に設けられている点に特徴があり、この点を除くと図1ないし図4に示された第一実施形態の場合と同じである。したがって本実施形態でも端子は金属板の平坦面を維持した形状となっており、図8にて図4と共通部位には同一符号を付しその説明は省略する。

Claims (5)
- 金属板製の端子と、該端子をその板面に対し直角方向で所定間隔をもって保持するハウジングと、該ハウジングに形成された受入部への前方へ向けた平型導体の挿入を可能とする開位置と該平型導体を端子で圧する閉位置との間を移動可能な可動部材とを備え、端子は平型導体の挿抜方向を長手方向として延びる押圧腕部と、連結部により該押圧腕部と連結されて上記長手方向に延びる支持腕部とを有し、上記押圧腕部は平型導体の挿入側となる後端側に該平型導体の一方の面を押圧するための押圧部と、該押圧部よりも前方位置に可動部材のカム部からの力を受ける受圧部とを有し、押圧腕部は受圧部でカム部からの力を受けて該押圧腕部が端子の板面と同一面内で弾性変位を生じて押圧部で該平型導体を押圧するようになっているとともに、ハウジングに形成された固定部により上記支持腕部が係止保持される平型導体用電気コネクタにおいて、
上記押圧腕部は、上記固定部に対し離間して位置し、
端子の押圧腕部とハウジングもしくは該ハウジングに取り付けられた部材との少なくとも一方に、該押圧腕部の連結部より後端側の弾性変位量を規制する規制手段が設けられており、
該規制手段は、上記平型導体の挿抜方向で上記受入部の範囲に設けられ、平型導体の非挿入時には、可動部材が開位置にあるとき非規制状態で、可動部材が閉位置へ向け移動したときに押圧腕部の弾性変位量を規制する規制状態となることを特徴とする平型導体用電気コネクタ。 - 規制手段は、平型導体の非挿入時における可動部材の移動による押圧腕部の弾性変位量を、該規制手段による規制を受けていないとした場合に可動部材が閉位置にもたらされたときの押圧部の最大弾性変位量よりも小さく、平型導体の受入部への挿入時の可動部材が閉位置に向けた移動中にあるときの押圧部の平型導体への接触開始位置における弾性変位量よりも大きくなる位置に設けられていることとする請求項1に記載の平型導体用電気コネクタ。
- 規制手段は、ハウジングもしくはこれに取り付けられた部材に形成された規制部と、押圧腕部の一部分に形成されて該規制部と当接可能な被規制部とを有していることとする請求項1または請求項2に記載の平型導体用電気コネクタ。
- 規制手段は、被規制部が端子の上記板面と同一面に位置し押圧腕部の押圧部よりも後方に突出する後端突部として形成され、規制部はハウジングの後端で上記押圧腕部の後端突部の下方の位置まで前方に向け突出している後端受部として形成されていることとする請求項3に記載の平型導体用電気コネクタ。
- 規制手段は、被規制部が端子の上記板面から押圧部よりも後方で側方に屈曲している側方突部として形成され、規制部はハウジングの後端で上記押圧腕部の側方突部の下方に位置する側方受部として形成されていることとする請求項3に記載の平型導体用電気コネクタ。
