Description
図1から図3は、路面描画用灯具ユニットの第1実施例を含む車両用灯具1を示す。車両用灯具1は、右側前照灯の一例を示すものであり、車両前方側に開口部を有するランプボディ2と、前記開口部を閉塞する透明または半透明の前面カバー3とを備える。ランプボディ2と前面カバー3の内側に形成された灯室Sの内側には、第1実施例の路面描画用灯具ユニット4と、配光パターン形成用の光源ユニット5、エイミングブラケット(6,7)、スイブルユニット8,複数のエイミングスクリュー9、エクステンションリフレクター10、及び制御装置11が収容される。尚、路面描画用灯具ユニット4は、車両用灯具1の内側に配置することに限られず、例えば車両(図示せず)の屋根など、車両用灯具1の外側に設置されてもよい。

Claims (4)
- 道路の幅方向である第1方向に長く、道路の幅方向及び光源の出射軸の双方に直交する方向である第2方向に短い描画パターンを前記第2方向に沿って道路上の複数箇所に描画するように、それぞれの描画パターンに対応する複数の光源が配列され、それぞれの光源が独立して点消灯可能に形成された光源モジュールと、
前記光源からの出射光を車両の前方に出射する光学系と、
を備えた、路面描画用灯具ユニットであって、
制御装置によって、組み合わせを構成するように配列された複数の光源を配列された順にまたは配列と逆の順序で点消灯させ、道路の幅方向に棒状に延びる描画パターンを前記第2方向に沿って順次形成すると共に車両の遠方に照射される描画パターンを、車両のより近傍に照射される描画パターンよりも前記第2方向に短く描画することを特徴とする路面描画用灯具ユニット。 - 前記光源が、道路の幅方向に伸びる長方形状の範囲に拡散する光束を前記光学系に出射し、
前記光学系が、前記光束から棒状の描画パターンを車両の前方に形成する
ことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の路面描画用灯具ユニット。 - 前記光学系が投影レンズであることを特徴とする、請求項1または2のうちいずれかに記載の路面描画用灯具ユニット
- 前記光学系が反射鏡であることを特徴とする、請求項1から3のうちいずれかに記載の路面描画用灯具ユニット。
