Description
以下の実施例では、NACE Standard Test Method TM0172−2001で「C」以下の評価を示すものを除けば、ASTM D4814 Standard Specification for Automotive Spark−Ignition Engine Fuelの要求を満たす添加剤を加えない無鉛ガソリンをガソリンブレンドストックとして使用する。自動車用火花点火エンジン燃料として使用するためのガソリンのブレンドために製造プラントのプロセスで典型的に製造される燃料オキシジェネートが、燃料オキシジェネートブレンドストックとして使用される。推奨される処理率を使用して、所望のガソリン/オキシジェネート燃料比で候補の腐食防止剤とブレンドされる。
OCTAMIX組成物中の腐食防止剤のNACE試験
概要:National Association of Corrosion Engineers(NACE)Standard Test Method TM0172(Determining Corrosive Properties of Cargoes in Petroleum Product Pipelines)によって、ガソリンブレンド中の3つの市販の腐食防止添加剤の腐食性能を評価した。2つの異なるオキシジェネート混合物を用いたベースガソリンおよびブレンドの試験を行った。すべてのブレンドについて、新しいブレンドおよび110°Fで最大12週間熱老化させたブレンドの両方で、許容できる性能が得られ、それによって添加剤の性能が十分である事が示された。
1.製油所プロセスの添加剤のみを含むみ、すなわち流通ターミナルで通常加えられる洗浄剤および他の性能添加剤は含まない、すべて炭化水素組成のベースガソリン。このベースガソリンはNACE試験で低い性能が得られた(C評価)。
2.「OCTAMIX #1」表7に記載の共溶媒アルコールを有するメタノール組成物。
3.「OCTAMIX #2」表7に記載のイソブタノールアルコール組成物。
4.腐食防止添加剤
a.Afton BioTEC(登録商標)9880
b.Afton BioTEC(登録商標)9881
c.Lubrizol(登録商標)541
1.C−9ベース燃料:アルコールおよび腐食防止剤を加えていないベースガソリン
2.T−9試験燃料:7.6体積%のOCTAMIX #1(メタノール および共溶媒)を有するベースガソリン
3.T−9b試験燃料:16体積%のOCTAMIX #2(イソブタノール)を16%で加え、候補の腐食防止剤を指定の処理率で加えたベースガソリン。
NACE Standard Test Method TM0172(Determining Corrosive Properties of Cargoes in Petroleum Product Pipelines)(NACE試験)を使用して、すべてのサンプルの腐食性能を評価した。サンプルは、添加剤を有するガソリン/アルコール燃料ブレンドの新しい配合物、およびNACE試験前に熱老化させた同一の配合物からなった。熱老化サンプルは、プラスチックキャップ中にTeflon(商標)ライナーを有するプラスチックで被覆されたガラス瓶の中で老化させた。熱老化用瓶を110°Fで制御された水浴中に浸漬した。
1.新しい試験燃料および老化NACE試験用の試験燃料を十分な量で調製する。
2.新しい燃料に対してNACE試験を行う。
3.さらなる試験燃料サンプルについて110°Fで30日老化させる。
4.30日間老化させた燃料に対してNACE試験を行う。
5.さらなる試験燃料サンプルについて110°Fで12週間日老化させる。
6.12週間老化させた燃料に対してNACE試験を行う。
Lubrizol(登録商標)541と、BioTEC(登録商標)9880、および高使用量(15ptb)のBioTEC(登録商標)9881との組み合わせについても、実施例21〜27で前述した手順により試験した。これらのさらなる試験のデータを表10にまとめている。
実施例21〜27で前述した手順により、Lubrizol(登録商標)541、BioTEC(登録商標)9880、およびBioTEC(登録商標)9881を用いてさらなる試験を行った。これらのさらなる試験のデータを表11および12にまとめている。
Claims (7)
- 含酸素ガソリン組成物であって、ガソリンブレンドストックと、少なくとも16〜85v/v%のイソブタノールと、ある量の1種類以上の腐食防止剤とを含み、前記量が0.5ptb(約2ppm)〜5ptb(約20ppm)未満であり、
a)前記1種類以上の腐食防止剤が0.1〜3の酸/アミン当量比を有し、そして、前記1種類以上の腐食防止剤が、水素化タロアルキルアミン、N,N−ジメチルシクロヘキシルアミン、5−カルボキシ−4−ヘキシル−2−シクロヘキセン−1−オクタン酸、6−カルボキシ−4−ヘキシル−2−シクロヘキセン−1−オクタン酸、DCI−6A(商標)、Tolad249(商標)若しくはドデセニルコハク酸を含む、
または
b)前記1種類以上の腐食防止剤が、Lubrizol(登録商標)541を含む、
上記含酸素ガソリン組成物。 - 40v/v%以下のイソブタノールを含む、請求項1に記載の含酸素ガソリン組成物。
- 16v/v%のイソブタノールまたは24v/v%のイソブタノールを含む、請求項1に記載の含酸素ガソリン組成物。
- 体積基準で5〜65v/v%のエタノールをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の含酸素ガソリン組成物。
- 前記組成物が少なくとも5v/v%のバイオブタノールを含む、請求項1に記載の含酸素ガソリン組成物。
- 内燃機関および燃料インフラシステムにおける腐食を軽減する方法であって、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の含酸素ガソリン組成物を含む燃料組成物を用いて、前記内燃機関または前記燃料インフラシステムを動作させるステップを含む、上記方法。
- 1種類以上の付着制御添加剤をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の含酸素ガソリン組成物。
