Description
またこの発明の他の課題は、減液の影響を最小限にすることにある。
・ 負極電極材料中の硫酸鉛の蓄積を抑制するが、
・ 水素過電圧を低下させて減液の原因となる、
点にある。なお負極電極材料中のビスフェノール類縮合物の濃度が0.05mass%未満では、硫酸鉛の蓄積防止効果が不十分で、0.25mass%を超えると減液が著しくなる。

Claims (8)
- 電解液を保持するセパレータと、正極板と、負極板と、電槽とを有するリテーナ式鉛蓄電池であって、
前記負極板の負極電極材料はビスフェノール類縮合物を0.05mass%以上で0.25mass%以下含有し、
かつ前記正極板の正極電極材料の理論容量Aと前記負極電極材料の理論容量Bとの理論容量比B/Aが、0.85以上で1.2以下であり、
前記セパレータは、ガラス繊維もしくは合成樹脂からなる、不織布状あるいはマット状のセパレータであり、前記不織布状あるいはマット状のセパレータの細孔径の中央値が3μm以上で8μm以下である、リテーナ式鉛蓄電池。 - 前記ビスフェノール類縮合物がビスフェノール類ホルムアルデヒド縮合物であることを特徴とする請求項1のリテーナ式鉛蓄電池。
- 前記負極板に、電解液の総量中の15mass%以上が保持されていることを特徴とする、請求項1または2のリテーナ式鉛蓄電池。
- 前記負極板に、電解液の総量中の15mass%以上25mass%以下が保持されていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のリテーナ式鉛蓄電池。
- 前記理論容量比B/Aが、0.9以上1.2以下である、請求項1〜4のリテーナ式鉛蓄電池。
- 前記負極電極材料はさらにカーボンを含有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜5記載のリテーナ式鉛蓄電池。
- 前記負極電極材料は、前記カーボンを0.1mass%以上1.5mass%以下含有することを特徴とする、請求項6記載のリテーナ式鉛蓄電池。
- 前記カーボンはカーボンブラックであることを特徴とする、請求項6または7記載のリテーナ式鉛蓄電池。
