Description
本発明に係る光触媒材料の一実施形態について、図1に基づいて説明する。図1は、本実施形態1に係る光触媒材料1Aを模式的に示す断面図である。
コア粒子2は、酸化タングステンから構成される。なお、本実施形態1のコア粒子2は酸化タングステンから構成されるが、本発明はこれに限定されるものではなく、コア粒子は少なくとも酸化タングステンを含んでいればよい。
助触媒4は、電子吸引性を有する金属または金属化合物から構成される。
シェル層3は、酸化チタンから構成されている。
本実施形態1の光触媒材料は、酸化タングステンを含むコア粒子2と、コア粒子2の表面に形成されている助触媒4と、酸化チタンから構成され、コア粒子2および助触媒4の表面全体を被覆するシェル層3とを備えている。そのため、酸化タングステン表面に酸化チタンが被覆されていない部分が存在する従来の光触媒材料よりもアルカリ耐性が高い。
次に、本発明の他の実施形態について、図2に基づいて説明する。図2は、本実施形態2の光触媒材料1Bを模式的に示す断面図である。なお、説明の便宜上、実施形態1にて説明した部材と同じ機能を有する部材については、同じ符号を付記し、その説明を省略する。
次に、本発明の更に他の実施形態について、図3に基づいて説明する。図3は、本実施形態3の光触媒材料1Cを模式的に示す断面図である。なお、実施形態2の場合と同様に、説明の便宜上、実施形態1にて説明した部材と同じ機能を有する部材については、同じ符号を付記し、その説明を省略する。
次に、本発明の更に他の実施形態について、図4に基づいて説明する。図4は、本実施形態4に係る光触媒材料1Dを模式的に示す断面図である。なお、実施形態2および3の場合と同様に、説明の便宜上、実施形態1にて説明した部材と同じ機能を有する部材については、同じ符号を付記し、その説明を省略する。
本発明に係る光触媒材料について、検証した実験結果を説明する。
まず、結晶性酸化チタン(アナターゼ型)で被覆されたプラチナ担持酸化タングステン粒子を製造し、これを実験例1の光触媒材料として用いて検証した。製造方法は、以下の通りである。
次に、結晶性酸化チタン(アナターゼ型)で被覆されたプラチナ及びパラジウム担持酸化タングステン粒子を製造した。これを、実験例2の光触媒材料として用いた。製造方法は、以下の通りである。
次に、結晶性酸化チタン(アナターゼ型)で被覆されたプラチナ担持酸化タングステン及び酸化銅の混合粒子を製造した。これを、実験例3の光触媒材料として用いた。製造方法は、以下の通りである。
次に、結晶性酸化チタン(アナターゼ型)で被覆されたプラチナ及びパラジウム担持酸化タングステン粒子を製造した。これを、実験例4の光触媒材料として用いた。製造方法は、以下の通りである。
次に、結晶性酸化チタン(アナターゼ型)で被覆されたプラチナ担持酸化タングステン粒子を製造し、これを実験例5の光触媒材料として用いて検証した。製造方法は、以下の通りである。
次に、結晶性酸化チタン(アナターゼ型)で被覆されたプラチナ及びパラジウム担持酸化タングステン粒子を製造した。これを、実験例6の光触媒材料として用いた。製造方法は、以下の通りである。
次に、結晶性酸化チタン(アナターゼ型)で被覆されたプラチナ担持酸化タングステン及び酸化銅の混合粒子を製造した。これを、実験例7光触媒材料として用いた。製造方法は、以下の通りである。
ここで、分解速度定数とは、アセトアルデヒド残存量の経時変化を測定した際に描く、横軸に経過時間をとり、縦軸にアセトアルデヒド残存量の対数表示をとったグラフにおける勾配の大きさによって定義される。
次に、結晶性酸化チタン(アナターゼ型)で被覆されたプラチナ及びパラジウム担持酸化タングステン粒子を製造した。これを、実験例8の光触媒材料として用いた。製造方法は、以下の通りである。
次に、様々な量の四塩化チタン(東洋チタニウム)を用いた以外は、実験例5と同様の工程を経て、結晶性酸化チタン(アナターゼ型)で被覆された酸化タングステン粒子(コア粒子に対するシェル層の重量比が0.5〜5.0の範囲で異なる光触媒材料)を製造し、これを実験例9の光触媒材料として用いて検証した。
本発明の態様1に係る光触媒材料は、酸化タングステンを含むコア粒子2と、上記コア粒子2の表面に形成されている助触媒4と、酸化チタンから構成され、上記コア粒子2および助触媒4の表面全体を被覆するシェル層3とから構成されていることを特徴としている。

Claims (8)
- 酸化タングステンを含む粒径5nm〜100nmのコア粒子と、
助触媒と、
酸化チタンから構成され、上記コア粒子および助触媒の表面を被覆するシェル層とから構成されていることを特徴とする光触媒材料。 - 上記コア粒子に対するシェル層の重量比が、1.0以上2.5以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光触媒材料。
- 上記コア粒子の表面に、複数種類の助触媒が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の光触媒材料。
- 上記コア粒子は、酸化タングステンと酸化銅との混合体から構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1から3までの何れか1項に記載の光触媒材料。
- 上記シェル層は、複数のコア粒子を被覆していることを特徴とする請求項1から4までの何れか1項に記載の光触媒材料。
- 上記助触媒は、銅、白金、パラジウム、鉄、銀、金、ニッケル、ルテニウム、イリジウム、ニオブ、モリブデンのうち少なくとも1種を含む金属または金属化合物であることを特徴とする請求項1から5までの何れか1項に記載の光触媒材料。
- 上記シェル層は、結晶質の酸化チタンから構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1から6までの何れか1項に記載の光触媒材料。
- 酸化タングステンを含む粒径5nm〜100nmのコア粒子の表面に、助触媒を形成する形成工程と、
上記形成工程後の上記コア粒子および上記助触媒の表面全体を酸化チタンから構成されたシェル層によって被覆する被覆工程と、
を含み、
上記被覆工程は、上記形成工程によって得られた助触媒が形成されたコア粒子を分散させた溶液中に、酸化チタン前駆体を含む溶液を添加し、溶液中で上記シェル層を形成することを特徴とする光触媒材料の製造方法。
