上記陰イオン界面活性剤に環状リポペプチドバイオサーファクタントを組み合わせて使用することを特徴とする方法。

Xとしてのアミノ酸残基は、L体でもD体でもよいが、L体が好ましい。
洗浄剤に配合される主要なアニオン性界面活性剤である直鎖アルキルベンゼンスルホン酸ナトリウム(LAS)に対する、サーファクチンナトリウム(SFNa)による使用量低減効果を、表面張力測定により検証した。具体的には、まず、バイヤル瓶にLASまたはSFNaと超純水を加え、スターラーで撹拌することにより溶解させ、10mM水溶液を調製した。これら溶液を所定の割合で混合した後、さらに超純水を加えて混合水溶液を希釈した各水溶液を得た。当該各水溶液をシャーレーへ移し変えて一昼夜静置し、高機能表面張力計(協和界面科学社製,「DY−500」)を用い、25℃で表面張力の濃度依存性を測定した。結果を図1に示す。
次に、LASと同様に主要な陰イオン界面活性剤であるドデシル硫酸ナトリウム(SDS)に対するサーファクチンナトリウム(SFNa)による使用量低減効果を、表面張力測定により検証した。具体的には、LASの代わりにSDSを用いたこと以外は上記実施例1と同様にして、SDS単独水溶液、SDS/SFNa混合水溶液およびSFNa単独水溶液を調製し、表面張力を測定した。結果を図3に示す。
次に、LASおよびSDSと同様に、主要な非イオン界面活性剤であるポリオキシエチレンアルキルエーテル(POE−AE)に対するサーファクチンナトリウム(SFNa)による使用量低減効果を、表面張力測定により検証した。具体的には、LASまたはSDSの代わりにPOE−AE(日本乳化剤株式会社製「NEWCOL2308」)を用いたこと以外は上記実施例1および実施例2と同様にして、POE−AE単独水溶液、POE−AE/SFNa混合水溶液およびSFNa単独水溶液を調製し、表面張力を測定した。結果を図5に示す。
バイヤル瓶にSFNaと超純水を1mMになるように測りとり、スターラーで攪拌することにより溶解させた。この溶液を、パスツールピペットを用いてマイカ基板上に一滴滴下して、室温で風乾させた。SFNaが配向したマイカ基板の表面形状を原子間力顕微鏡(セイコーインスツル社製「SPI4000」)によって観察した。その結果を図7に示す。図7(1)中、写真の下のスケールは、写真中の色と縦方向の高さとの関係を示す。
SFNaの濃度が1mM(1000ppm)になるようにSFNaと超純水をバイヤル瓶に測りとり、スターラーで攪拌することにより溶解させた。この溶液を、パスツールピペットを用いてSUS基板上(日造精密研磨株式会社製,「SUS304」,精密研磨処理品)に一滴滴下して、デシケーター内で乾燥させた。SUS基板の表面形状を原子間力顕微鏡(セイコーインスツル社製「SPI4000」)を用い、タッピングモードによって観察した。また、比較のため、SFNa溶液で処理する前のSUS基板も同様に観察した。SUS基板の原子間力顕微鏡写真を図8に、SFNa溶液で処理したSUS基板の原子間力顕微鏡を図9に示す。なお、図8,9中、各写真の下のスケールは、写真中の色と縦方向の高さとの関係を示す。
SFNaの濃度が0.025mM(25ppm)、0.0125mM(12.5ppm)または0.008mM(8ppm)になるようにSFNaと超純水をバイヤル瓶に測りとり、スターラーで攪拌することにより溶解させた。各溶液を、パスツールピペットを用いてSUS基板上(日造精密研磨株式会社製,「SUS304」,精密研磨処理品)に一滴滴下して、デシケーター内で乾燥させた。各基板の表面を、上記参考例3と同様に原子間力顕微鏡を使ってタッピングモードにより観察し、写真を撮影した。各写真を図10(1)〜(3)に示す。なお、図10中、各写真の下のスケールは、写真中の色と縦方向の高さとの関係を示す。
上記実施例1で用いた直鎖アルキルベンゼンスルホン酸ナトリウム(LAS)および上記実施例2で用いたドデシル硫酸ナトリウム(SDS)と同様に、環境への影響が懸念されている陰イオン界面活性剤であるペルフルオロオクタン酸ナトリウム(PFOSNa)に対するサーファクチンナトリウム(SFNa)による使用量低減効果を、表面張力測定により検証した。
ラウリン酸ナトリウム(LaNa)に対するサーファクチンナトリウム(SFNa)による使用量低減効果を、表面張力測定により検証した。具体的には、LaNa(和光純薬工業株式会社製)を用い、LaNa単独の場合と、LaNaに対してSFNaをモル比で9:1(10mol%)、99:1(1mol%)、または999:1(0.1mol%)の割合で添加した場合の水溶液の表面張力を測定した。結果を図13に示す。
直鎖アルキルベンゼンスルホン酸ナトリウム(LAS)にサーファクチンナトリウム(SFNa)を添加した系において、低濃度におけるミセル形成を実際に確認した。具体的には、上記実施例1と同様に、LAS単独、およびLASに対してSFNaをモル比で9:1(10mol%)の割合で添加した各種水溶液を調製した。光散乱光度計(大塚電子社製,製品名「DLS−7000」)を用い、得られた各種濃度の水溶液の散乱光強度を測定した。その際、光源にはArレーザー(λ=488nm)を用い、散乱角度は90度に設定した。なお、得られた散乱光強度と溶媒である超純水の散乱光強度の比、相対散乱光強度を濃度に対してプロットした結果を図14に示す。
直鎖アルキルベンゼンスルホン酸ナトリウム(LAS)にサーファクチンナトリウム(SFNa)を添加した系において、低濃度におけるスクアランの乳化能を検証した。具体的には、上記実施例1と同様に、LAS単独、SFNa単独、およびLASに対してSFNaをモル比で9:1(10mol%)の割合で添加した全濃度が1.5×10-5Mの水溶液を調製した。また、対照として、界面活性剤を添加しない超純水のみも準備した。これら水溶液または超純水1mLとスクアラン(和光純薬工業株式会社製)3mLを試験菅中に測りとり、ボルテックスミキサーで1分間撹拌した。これらの溶液を25℃で1日静置し目視観察した結果を図15に示す。
Claims (8)
- 陰イオン界面活性剤の臨界ミセル濃度を低減する方法であって、
上記陰イオン界面活性剤がアルキル硫酸塩であり、
上記アルキル硫酸塩に、下記式(I)で表されるサーファクチンまたはその塩を組み合わせて使用し、
上記アルキル硫酸塩と下記式(I)で表されるサーファクチンまたはその塩の合計に対して、下記式(I)で表されるサーファクチンまたはその塩を5mol%以上用いることを特徴とする方法。
Xは、ロイシン、イソロイシンおよびバリンから選択されるアミノ酸残基を示し;
R1はC9-18アルキル基を示す] - 上記式(I)で表されるサーファクチンの塩を用いる請求項1に記載の方法。
- 上記アルキル硫酸塩としてドデシル硫酸ナトリウムを用いる請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 上記アルキル硫酸塩と上記式(I)で表されるサーファクチンまたはその塩の合計に対して、上記式(I)で表されるサーファクチンまたはその塩を10mol%以上用いる請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の方法。
- アルキル硫酸塩の臨界ミセル濃度を低減するための下記式(I)で表されるサーファクチンまたはその塩の使用であって、
上記アルキル硫酸塩と下記式(I)で表されるサーファクチンまたはその塩の合計に対して、下記式(I)で表されるサーファクチンまたはその塩を5mol%以上用いることを特徴とする使用。
Xは、ロイシン、イソロイシンおよびバリンから選択されるアミノ酸残基を示し;
R1はC9-18アルキル基を示す] - 上記式(I)で表されるサーファクチンの塩を用いる請求項5に記載の使用。
- 上記アルキル硫酸塩がドデシル硫酸ナトリウムである請求項5または6に記載の使用。
- 上記アルキル硫酸塩と上記式(I)で表されるサーファクチンまたはその塩の合計に対して、上記式(I)で表されるサーファクチンまたはその塩を10mol%以上用いる請求項5〜7のいずれかに記載の使用。
