Description
回り止め部は、屈曲して外側に突出しており、屈曲部位から自由端に至るまでの部分がスカート部よりも肉厚である。これによれば、回り止め部の強度をより高く保つことができる。また、回り止め部ほど強度を必要としないスカート部の分の材料を節約することができ、リフタ本体の軽量化に寄与することができる。
前記リフタ本体が鍛造により一体に形成されている。これにより、リフタ本体の製造が容易になるとともに、全体の強度を高く保つことができる。
本発明の実施例1を図面に基づいて説明する。実施例1に係るリフタ10は、内燃機関の燃料供給装置80に設けられたポンプリフタとして適用される場合を例示するものである。
カム70の回転に応じてローラ30が支持軸31周りに回転すると、リフタ10がカム70のリフト量に応じたストローク量で往復移動し、筒状部12の摺動面17がリフタガイド82のガイド孔83の内周を摺動可能に変位する。実施例1の場合、筒状部12の軸方向一端部にスカート部13が設けられ、スカート部13の円弧面14も摺動面17としてガイド孔83の内周を摺動可能となっているため、スカート部の長さ分、従来のリフタよりも、摺動面17の形成範囲が軸方向(図示上下方向)に長くなっている。
以下、他の実施例を簡単に説明する。
(1)上述した実施例1のリフタは、動弁機構に設けられたバルブリフタに適用することが可能である。
(2)スカート部には、ガイド孔の内周を摺動可能な円弧面を有する部分と、ローラを支持する支軸軸の両端部が固定される平坦面を有する部分との間に、両部分を分断する割溝が設けられていてもよい。
(3)回り止め部は、筒状部の軸方向他端部から軸方向他側に突出する部分を外側に強制的に折り曲げて形成されるものであってもよい。

Claims (2)
- カムに当接して押圧されるローラと、前記ローラを回転可能に支持し、リフタガイドのガイド孔に往復移動可能に収容されるリフタ本体とを備え、
前記リフタ本体は、外周が前記ガイド孔の内周を摺動可能な筒状をなし、軸方向一端部に、前記ローラを覆うスカート部を有する筒状部と、
前記筒状部における前記スカート部の位置する側とは反対側の軸方向他端部から外側に突出する形態をなし、前記リフタガイドに対する軸周りの回転を規制する回り止め部とを有し、
前記回り止め部は、屈曲して外側に突出しており、屈曲部位から自由端に至るまでの部分が前記スカート部よりも肉厚であることを特徴とするリフタ。 - 前記リフタ本体が鍛造により一体に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載のリフタ。
