Description
本出願は、2015年01月30日付韓国特許出願第2015−0015026号に基づいた優先権の利益を主張し、当該韓国特許出願の文献に開示された全ての内容は本明細書の一部として含まれる。
本発明は、電池パックに関し、特にショート発生を防止するためのスイッチ装置を有する電池パックに関する。
以下、本発明に係る電池パックの実施形態を、図面を参照して詳しく説明する。
Claims (11)
- 互いに隣り合うように配置され、第1及び第2電極端子が形成された第1及び第2電池セルが備えられる電池モジュール;
前記第1電池セルの第2電極端子と前記第2電池セルの第1電極端子とを連結する第1ヒューズが備えられるヒューズ部;及び
前記第1電池セルの上面の電池モジュールの外側に配置され、前記第1ヒューズの前記第1電池セルの第2電極端子側と連結される第1スイッチ、前記第1スイッチの下部に配置され、前記第2電池セルの第2電極端子と連結される第2スイッチが備えられる衝撃スイッチ装置を含むことを特徴とする電池パック。 - 前記電池モジュールは、第1及び第2電極端子が形成された第3電池セルをさらに含み、
前記ヒューズ部は、前記第2電池セルの第2電極端子と前記第3電池セルの第1電極端子とを連結する第2ヒューズをさらに含み、
前記衝撃スイッチ装置は、前記第2スイッチの下部に配置され、前記第3電池セルの第2電極端子と連結される第3スイッチをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池パック。 - 前記第1スイッチと前記第2スイッチが接触される場合、前記第1電池セルの第2電極端子と前記第2電池セルの第2電極端子とが連結されながら発生する過電流または熱により、前記第1ヒューズが溶けて切れながら前記第1電池セルと前記第2電池セルとの間の連結を遮断することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記第2スイッチと前記第3スイッチが接触される場合、前記第2電池セルの第2電極端子と前記第3電池セルの第1電極端子とが連結されながら発生する過電流または熱により、前記第2ヒューズが溶けて切れながら前記第2電池セルと前記第3電池セルとの間の連結を遮断することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電池パック。
- 前記第1,第2及び第3スイッチは、導電性を有する金属プレートを備えることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電池パック。
- 前記第1,第2及び第3スイッチは、互いに離隔された状態を維持することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電池パック。
- 前記第1及び第2スイッチは、前記電池モジュールの外周面全体に備えられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池モジュールは、前記第3電池セルの下部に配置される第4電池セルをさらに含み、
前記ヒューズ部は、前記第3電池セルと前記第4電池セルを直列に連結する第4ヒューズをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電池パック。 - 前記第1電極端子は正極端子であり、第2電極端子は負極端子であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記衝撃スイッチ装置と前記電池モジュールとの間には、緩衝空間が備えられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記緩衝空間には、緩衝部材が備えられることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の電池パック。
