Claims (8)
- 電極リードを備え、相互対面して積層される一対のバッテリーセルと、
前記一対のバッテリーセル各々の電極リードの間を連結するコネクターと、
前記一対のバッテリーセル各々のテラス部の間に形成される空間に配置され、前記バッテリーセルのスウェリングによる圧力を受けて動作することで、前記コネクターと電極リードとの電気的接続を遮断するコネクター破断装置と、を含む、バッテリーモジュールであって、
前記一対のバッテリーセル各々に備えられた電極リードが、前記コネクター破断装置に固定されることを特徴とするバッテリーモジュール。 - 電極リードを備え、相互対面して積層される一対のバッテリーセルと、
前記一対のバッテリーセル各々の電極リードの間を連結するコネクターと、
前記一対のバッテリーセル各々のテラス部の間に形成される空間に配置され、前記バッテリーセルのスウェリングによる圧力を受けて動作することで、前記コネクターと電極リードとの電気的接続を遮断するコネクター破断装置と、を含む、バッテリーモジュールであって、
前記コネクター破断装置が、プッシュバーと、第1弾性部材と、破断部と、前記プッシュバー、前記第1弾性部材、及び前記破断部を収容するカートリッジと、を含み、
前記プッシュバーは、前記バッテリーセルのスウェリングによる圧力を受けて前記カートリッジ内で上方へ動き、
前記第1弾性部材は、前記電極リードと反対方向へ弾性加圧された状態を維持しており、前記プッシュバーが上方へ移動することによって復元され、
前記破断部は、前記第1弾性部材の復元力によって前記カートリッジの上端に形成された開口部を通してコネクターに向けて移動し、前記コネクターと電極リードとの電気的接続を遮断することを特徴とするバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記コネクター破断装置が、
前記第1弾性部材が圧縮された状態を維持するように前記破断部を固定し、前記プッシュバーがスウェリングによる圧力によって押さえられた場合に、前記破断部の固定状態が解除されるようにすることで、前記破断部が前記第1弾性部材の復元力によって前記コネクターに向けて移動するようにするストッパーをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記カートリッジが、
内側面から突出して形成され、水平線に対して所定の角度へ傾いたガイドリブを備えることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記プッシュバーが、
前記ガイドリブに向けて上方へ延びて形成され、その一側端部が前記ガイドリブとストッパーとの間に位置するプッシュリブを備えることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記プッシュリブが、
前記プッシュバーが前記スウェリングによる圧力によって押さえられた場合に、前記ガイドリブによって動きの方向が転換され、その一側端部が前記ストッパーの一側端部に圧力を加えることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記ストッパーが、
前記プッシュリブによる圧力を受けて動くことで前記破断部の固定状態を解除することを特徴とする請求項6に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記カートリッジは、内側面から突出して形成される支持リブを備え、
前記コネクター破断装置は、前記ストッパーと前記支持リブとの間に配置され、前記プッシュバーが押さえられたときに弾性加圧される第2弾性部材を含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
