Description
図1は本発明の第1実施形態による二次電池が正常に作動している場合の様子を図示した平面図であり、図2は本発明の第1実施形態による二次電池の温度が非正常に上昇した場合の様子を図示した平面図である。
本発明による電池パックは、短絡部を含む複数の二次電池を含むことができる。短絡部および二次電池に関する内容は、上述の内容とおりである。

Claims (13)
- 正極、セパレータ、負極およびセパレータが交互に配置された構造を有し、前記正極から突出する正極タブおよび前記負極から突出する負極タブを含む電極組立体と、
前記電極組立体を収容する外装材と、
前記外装材内に収容され、電気伝導性を有する短絡部とを含み、
前記短絡部は、前記電極組立体内のセパレータに付着され、
所定の温度未満で、前記短絡部は、前記正極タブおよび前記負極タブから離隔し、
前記所定の温度以上で、前記短絡部は、前記短絡部が付着された前記セパレータの収縮によって前記正極タブおよび前記負極タブと接触することで、前記正極タブと前記負極タブを電気的に連結する、二次電池。 - 前記正極タブは、前記電極組立体の一側から突出し、
前記負極タブは、前記電極組立体の他側から突出する、請求項1に記載の二次電池。 - 前記短絡部は、前記電極組立体内の複数のセパレータのうちの一つに付着される、請求項1または請求項2に記載の二次電池。
- 前記短絡部は、前記電極組立体内の複数のセパレータのうちの二つ以上に付着される、請求項1または請求項2に記載の二次電池。
- 前記短絡部は、前記電極組立体内のセパレータの周縁に沿って付着される、請求項1から請求項4のいずれか一項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記短絡部は複数備えられ、
複数の前記短絡部のうち一つは、前記短絡部が付着されるセパレータの一側の周縁に沿って付着され、
複数の前記短絡部のうち他の一つは、前記短絡部が付着されるセパレータの他側の周縁に沿って付着される、請求項5に記載の二次電池。 - 前記短絡部は、前記外装材から内側に離隔するように備えられる、請求項1から請求項6のいずれか一項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記負極タブは、前記電極組立体の前記一側の反対側に形成される前記電極組立体の他側から突出する、請求項2に記載の二次電池。
- 前記負極タブは、前記電極組立体の前記一側と隣接して形成される前記電極組立体の他側から突出する、請求項2に記載の二次電池。
- 前記所定の温度未満および前記所定の温度以上で、
前記短絡部は、前記電極組立体内の前記正極および前記負極から離隔している、請求項1から請求項9のいずれか一項に記載の二次電池。 - 前記所定の温度未満で、前記短絡部は、
前記正極タブと第1間隔D1だけ離隔した位置で前記負極タブと第2間隔D2だけ離隔した位置まで延び、
前記所定の温度以上で前記短絡部が付着されたセパレータが前記第1間隔D1と平行な方向に収縮する長さは、前記第1間隔D1より大きく、
前記所定の温度以上で前記短絡部が付着されたセパレータが前記第2間隔D2と平行な方向に収縮する長さは、前記第2間隔D2より大きい、請求項5に記載の二次電池。 - 前記外装材は、パウチ型シート外装材である、請求項1から請求項11のいずれか一項に記載の二次電池。
- 請求項1から請求項12のいずれか一項に記載の二次電池が複数備えられる、電池パック。
