Description
メソカーボンマイクロビーズの粉末と電気グラファイトの粉末とを混合する工程と、
混合したメソカーボンマイクロビーズ及びグラファイトをアイソスタティックプレス加工、ブランクを形成する工程と、
ブランクを焼結する工程と、
焼結ブランクをグラファイト化する工程であって、グラファイト化ブランクの密度が好ましくは1.85〜1.95g/cm3の範囲内、グラファイト化ブランクの抵抗率が好ましくは500〜2000μΩ・cmの範囲内になるようにする工程と、
グラファイト化ブランクを機械加工して、整流子の環状ディスク形状の接触部材などの最終製品を形成する工程とを含む。
メソカーボンマイクロビーズの粉末とカーボグラファイトの粉末とを混合する工程と、
混合したメソカーボンマイクロビーズ粉末及びグラファイト粉末を混練する工程と、
混合粉末を圧縮してブランクを形成する工程、好ましくは、金型で混合粉末を圧縮して、最終製品の所定の形状を有するブランクを形成する工程と、
ブランクを焼結する工程であって、焼結ブランクの密度が好ましくは1.6〜1.8g/cm3の範囲内、焼結ブランクの抵抗率が好ましくは2000〜8000μΩ・cmの範囲内になるようにする工程と、
焼結ブランクを機械加工して、整流子の環状ディスク形状の接触部材などの最終製品を形成する工程とを含む。

Claims (12)
- メソカーボンマイクロビーズ及びグラファイトからなる炭素製品であって、
前記メソカーボンマイクロビーズは重量%で50〜99%、前記グラファイトは重量%で1〜50%であり、
密度が1.6〜1.8g/cm 3 の範囲内、抵抗率が2000〜8000μΩ・cmの範囲内にあることを特徴とする炭素製品。 - 前記メソカーボンマイクロビーズは重量%で70〜80%、前記グラファイトは重量%で20〜30%であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の炭素製品。
- 前記炭素製品は、カーボンブラシ、カーボンベアリング、カーボンシール、又は整流子のブラシ接触面であることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の炭素製品。
- 絶縁材料からなるベースと、
前記ベースに固定された導電部材であって、前記導電部材は複数のバーを備え、前記バーは、それぞれ、電気モータのリード線を接続するための爪を有する導電部材と、
ブラシ接触面を形成する接触部材であって、前記接触部材は複数のセグメントを備え、前記セグメントは、それぞれ、対応するバーに電気的に接続される接触部材と、
を備える、電気モータのための整流子であって、
前記接触部材はメソカーボンマイクロビーズ及びグラファイトを含み、
前記接触部材は、その密度が1.6〜1.8g/cm 3 の範囲内、抵抗率が2000〜8000μΩ・cmの範囲内にある、
ことを特徴とする整流子。 - 前記接触部材において、前記メソカーボンマイクロビーズは重量%で50〜99%、前記グラファイトは重量%で1〜50%であることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の整流子。
- 前記接触部材において、前記メソカーボンマイクロビーズは重量%で70〜80%、前記グラファイトは重量%で20〜30%であることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の整流子。
- 前記メソカーボンマイクロビーズの直径は150μm未満であることを特徴とする、請求項4、5又は6に記載の整流子。
- メソカーボンマイクロビーズと電気グラファイトとを混合する工程と、
前記混合したメソカーボンマイクロビーズ及び電気グラファイトをアイソスタティックプレス加工して、ブランクを形成する工程と、
前記ブランクを焼結する工程と、
前記焼結したブランクをグラファイト化する工程と、
前記グラファイト化したブランクを機械加工して、所定の形状の炭素製品を形成する工 程とを含み、
前記ブランクを焼結する行程は、前記焼結したブランクの密度が1.6〜1.8g/cm 3 の範囲内、抵抗率が2000〜8000μΩ・cmの範囲内となるように前記ブランクを焼結することを含むことを特徴とする、炭素製品の製造方法。 - 更に、前記混合工程の前に、前記メソカーボンマイクロビーズを篩分して、所定の大きさ未満の大きさを有するメソカーボンマイクロビーズを選別する工程を含むことを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の方法。
- メソカーボンマイクロビーズ粉末とカーボグラファイト粉末とを混合する工程と、
前記混合したメソカーボンマイクロビーズ粉末及びグラファイト粉末を混練する工程と、
前記混合粉末を圧縮して、ブランクを形成する工程と、
前記ブランクを焼結する工程と、
前記焼結したブランクを機械加工して、炭素製品を形成する工程と、
を含み、
前記ブランクを焼結する行程は、前記焼結したブランクの密度が1.6〜1.8g/cm 3 の範囲内、抵抗率が2000〜8000μΩ・cmの範囲内となるように前記ブランクを焼結することを含むことを特徴とする、炭素製品の製造方法。 - 更に、前記混練工程の後、且つ、前記圧縮工程の前に、前記粉末を篩分する工程を含むことを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 更に、前記篩分工程の後、且つ、前記圧縮工程の前に、前記篩分された粉末を混合する工程を含むことを特徴とする、請求項11に記載の方法。
