なる演算を行って、直流分が除去された2相正弦波信号S(A)、S(B)を生成する。
ここで、各アンプのオフセット、ゲインばらつき等に起因するS(A)、S(B)に含まれるオフセット誤差、ゲイン比を補正しておくのが望ましい。例えば、所定の領域のS(A),S(B)それぞれの(最大値−最小値)/2から振幅比を検出し、振幅を等しくするように補正を行う。同様に、(最大値+最小値)/2から、オフセット誤差量を検出し、そのオフセットの補正を行う。いずれも、補正値を記憶装置52に記憶しておき、位置検出時にその補正値を読み出して補正を行う。

Claims (6)
- 回転体の回転軸に取り付けるロータリースケールの製造方法であって、
スケール基材に、スケールパターンを形成するとともに前記スケールパターンの中心軸と同軸となるように前記回転軸の中心軸を位置合わせした場合の前記回転軸の外形形状を示すマークを形成する第1の工程と、
前記マークのうち少なくとも3か所の部分を除くマーク領域を含む、前記スケール基材内の第1領域を切断する第2の工程と、
前記第1領域を切断した後に残る前記少なくとも3か所の部分に沿って前記スケール基材を切断する第3の工程と、
を有することを特徴とするロータリースケールの製造方法。 - 前記第1の工程は、前記マークを拡大した形状を有する第2のマークと、前記マークを縮小した形状を有する第3のマークと、を更に形成することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のロータリースケールの製造方法。
- 前記第2の工程は、前記第2のマークおよび前記第3のマークのうち少なくとも一方を含む前記第1領域を切断し、
前記第3の工程は、前記第2のマークと前記第3のマークの間に設けられた前記少なくとも3か所の部分に沿って前記スケール基材を切断することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のロータリースケールの製造方法。 - 前記第1の工程は、前記マークから外側に所定の幅を有する第4のマークと、前記マークから内側に所定の幅を有する第5のマークと、を更に形成することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のロータリースケールの製造方法。
- 前記第2の工程は、前記第4のマークおよび前記第5のマークのうち少なくとも一方を含む前記第1領域を切断し、
前記第3の工程は、前記第4のマークと前記第5のマークの範囲内に設けられた前記少なくとも3か所の部分に沿って前記スケール基材を切断することを特徴とする請求項4に記載のロータリースケールの製造方法。 - 前記スケール基材は、樹脂またはガラスであることを特徴とする請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項に記載のロータリースケールの製造方法。
