Claims (7)
- 前輪(WF)を軸支するフロントサスペンション(4)と、前記フロントサスペンション(4)の伸縮動作に反力を与えるスプリング(41)と、前記フロントサスペンション(4)の伸縮動作に減衰力を与える減衰力発生手段(42)と、前記前輪(WF)に制動力を与える前輪ブレーキ装置(BF)と、前記前輪ブレーキ装置(BF)の作動状態を検知するブレーキセンサ(43)とを有する自動二輪車(1)に適用される自動二輪車用サスペンションにおいて、
前記フロントサスペンション(4)が、制御装置(50)によって伸縮動作時の減衰力を制御可能に構成されており、
前記制御装置(50)が、少なくとも前記自動二輪車(1)が停車状態で、かつ前記ブレーキセンサ(43)の出力値が所定値以上であることを検出すると、前記フロントサスペンション(4)の減衰力を低下させる減衰力低減制御を行うことを特徴とする自動二輪車用サスペンション。 - 前記減衰力低減制御は、前記フロントサスペンション(4)の圧縮側の減衰力を低減する制御であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動二輪車用サスペンション。
- 前記減衰力低減制御は、前記フロントサスペンション(4)の伸び側の減衰力を低減する制御であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動二輪車用サスペンション。
- 前記減衰力低減制御は、前記フロントサスペンション(4)の圧縮側の減衰力および伸び側の減衰力の両方を低くする制御であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動二輪車用サスペンション。
- 前記減衰力低減制御は、前記フロントサスペンション(4)の減衰力を最も小さい状態とする制御であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の自動二輪車用サスペンション。
- 前記フロントサスペンション(4)のストローク量を検出するストロークセンサ(40)を備え、
前記制御装置(50)は、前記減衰力低減制御の開始後に前記フロントサスペンション(4)が伸び動作を開始して、その後、伸び動作が終了したことを検知すると、前記減衰力低減制御を終了することを特徴とする請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載の自動二輪車用サスペンション。 - 前記減衰力低減制御の開始後に前記ブレーキセンサ(43)の出力値が前輪ブレーキ(BF)の操作をリリースしたと判定できる値となってからの経過時間を計測するタイマ(54)を備え、
前記制御装置(50)は、前記経過時間が所定値に達すると、前記減衰力低減制御を終了することを特徴とする請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載の自動二輪車用サスペンション。
