本発明によるステアリングホイールは、上記のヒータユニットと、ホイール芯材と、被覆材とからなり、上記ホイール芯材と上記被覆材の間に上記ヒータユニットが設置されるものである。
また、本発明によるヒータユニットの製造方法は、高分子発泡体からなる基材と、コード状ヒータとからなるヒータユニットの製造方法であって、上記基材上に、所定のパターン形状で上記コード状ヒータを配設し、上記基材を平板によって加熱加圧することで、上記基材における上記コード状ヒータが配設される箇所の厚さを、該コード状ヒータの形状に沿うように薄くし、それによって平坦な形状のヒータユニットとするものである。

Claims (5)
- 高分子発泡体からなる基材と、該基材上に配設されるコード状ヒータとからなるヒータユニットであって、
上記基材における上記コード状ヒータが配設される箇所の厚さが、該コード状ヒータの形状に沿うように薄くなっており、それによって平坦な形状となっており、
上記基材における上記コード状ヒータが配設される箇所が、他の箇所よりも高密度化されていることを特徴とするヒータユニット。 - 上記コード状ヒータが、最外層に熱融着部が形成されたものであることを特徴とする請求項1記載のヒータユニット。
- 上記コード状ヒータが、扁平した形状となっていることを特徴とする請求項2記載のヒータユニット。
- 請求項1〜請求項3何れか記載のヒータユニットと、ホイール芯材と、被覆材とからなり、上記ホイール芯材と上記被覆材の間に上記ヒータユニットが設置されるステアリングホイール。
- 高分子発泡体からなる基材と、コード状ヒータとからなるヒータユニットの製造方法であって、上記基材上に、所定のパターン形状で上記コード状ヒータを配設し、上記基材を平板によって加熱加圧することで、上記基材における上記コード状ヒータが配設される箇所を、他の箇所よりも高密度化し、上記基材における上記コード状ヒータが配設される箇所の厚さを、該コード状ヒータの形状に沿うように薄くし、それによって平坦な形状のヒータユニットとするヒータユニットの製造方法。
