Description
(操作装置の全体構成)
図1において、全体を示す符号1は、実施の形態における典型的な動力伝達機構を備えた操作装置を概略的に例示している。この操作装置1は、例えばセンターコンソールなどの運転席周辺部に配置されており、ディスプレイに配線を介して接続される。
ボディ3の内部には、操作者の手指が可動パネル2の操作盤面2aにタッチ操作したことを検出することで、操作者の手指に対して触覚刺激を呈示する触覚フィードバック機能を備えた動力伝達機構10が組み込まれている。伝達機構としては、DCモータ11からの駆動力をリンク機構やカム機構等により可動パネル2に伝達する種々の伝達機構が適用可能であるが、本実施の形態では、動力伝達機構10として、制御基板に搭載された正逆転可能なDCモータ11と、DCモータ11の正逆転運動を昇降直線運動に変換して可動パネル2に触覚刺激操作感触(振動)を伝達する歯車機構12とを備えた構成としている。
ところで、歯車機構12のギヤ比をもってDCモータ11の回転が可動パネル2に伝達されるため、DCモータ11に正回転方向の駆動電流が流れているときは、図4に示すように、可動パネル2の操作盤面2aの高さが線形的に加速しながら変位していくことになる。しかしながら、駆動電流停止後には、DCモータ11の慣性による回転動作に基づいて、操作盤面2aの高さが駆動電流停止直前の速度を初速とした放物線を描く非線形的な変位しかできず、操作盤面2aの高さが変位を開始してから目標の変位量に達するまでの時間(立ち上がり時間)が一様に決まる。
図1に示すような動力伝達機構10の構成において、駆動歯車13及び従動歯車14の歯合面同士が接触していないバックラッシュの状態でモータ3を正逆転駆動させると、バックラッシュ相当分のガタにより位置が定まらず、駆動歯車13と従動歯車14との噛み合い状態の違いにより、歯車機構12の正逆転位置と可動パネル2の往復直線移動位置との相対位置関係が変化してしまう。
以上のように構成された実施の形態に係る操作装置1によると、上記効果に加えて、次の効果が得られる。
(2)操作盤面2aが上昇移動を開始してから目標の変位量に達するまでの時間(t0−t3)幅内で、操作盤面2aが上昇移動する速度と、操作盤面2aが上昇移動する変位量との両方を調整することができるため、意図した振動触感を呈示することができる。
(3)歯車機構12の正逆転切替え位置や停止位置におけるバックラッシュを除去することができることと相まって、バックラッシュに起因する振動の変化をなくすことが可能となり、振動触感の変化が一定となる最適な特性を有する操作装置1が効果的に得られる。
本発明における操作装置1の代表的な構成例を実施の形態、変形例及び図示例を挙げて説明したが、次に示すような他の変形例も可能である。
(2)タッチパネルを備えていない各種のスイッチ装置であっても、操作者の手指に触覚刺激操作感触を呈示することは可能であり、例えばマウス装置、キーボードや操作ノブなどにも適用することができる。
(3)上記操作装置1は、例えば使用目的などに応じて配置個数、配置位置や配置形態などを適宜に選択すればよく、本発明の初期の目的を達成することができる。
Claims (2)
- 正逆回転可能なモータと、
前記モータの正逆回転運動を昇降直線運動に変換して操作部に触覚刺激操作感触を呈示する伝達機構と、
前記モータの通電方向を切り替え制御する制御部と、
を備え、
前記制御部は、前記伝達機構を介して前記操作部が上昇移動を開始してから目標の変位量に達するまでの所定時間内において、前記モータの正回転方向の駆動電力を増加させて前記操作部の上昇移動量が増加するように加速制御し、前記モータの逆回転方向の駆動電力を供給して前記操作部の上昇移動が減速するように減速制御することを特徴とする操作装置。 - 前記制御部は、前記モータの正回転時に前記操作部の上昇速度を加速させる加速時間と、前記モータの逆回転時に前記操作部の上昇速度を減速させる減速時間との比が前記所定時間内に収まるように前記モータを制御することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の操作装置。
