Claims (20)
- ヘッドマウントディスプレイ(HMD)のスクリーン上にレンダリングされるコンテンツを実行する方法であって、
前記スクリーン上にインタラクティブなシーンをレンダリングするために前記コンテンツを実行するステップと、
ユーザの頭に着用され、前記インタラクティブなシーンが前記スクリーン上にレンダリングされているときの前記HMDの向きを追跡するステップと、
前記ユーザの前記頭の動きが前記インタラクティブなシーンへのビュー方向の変化をもたらすように、前記HMDの向きの変化にもとづいて前記インタラクティブなシーンへのビュー方向を変化させるステップと、
前記HMDの前記ユーザに対する現実世界空間の現実世界対象物の相対的な位置を取得するように構成された前記HMDのカメラを用いて前記現実世界空間の画像を受け取るステップと、
少なくとも一つの現実世界対象物が前記HMDの前記ユーザに近接していることを検出するステップと、
前記HMDに提示すべき警告であって、前記ユーザが前記少なくとも一つの現実世界対象物にぶつかりそうであることを示す警告を生成するステップと、
前記少なくとも一つの現実世界対象物を視認する方向における前記スクリーンの一部を、前記HMDの前記カメラを用いて前記現実世界空間への少なくとも部分的なビューを提供する透過モードに移行するステップとを含む、方法。 - 前記現実世界空間への前記部分的なビューは、前記少なくとも一つの現実世界対象物の輪郭線の形態、点線の形態、グレイアウト形態、破線形態、ゴースト形態、半透過形態、または完全に視認可能な形態のうちの一つを提供する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記警告は、前記HMDの前記スクリーン上のビジュアル形式、オーディオ形式、触覚形式、またはこれらの2以上の組合せの形態で前記HMDに提示される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも一つの現実世界対象物が前記HMDの前記ユーザに近接していることを検出するステップは、深さデータ、超音波データ、画像データ、音データ、またはこれらの2以上の組合せを調べることによって促進される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記HMDの向きを追跡するステップは、前記HMDの慣性センサデータを調べること、前記HMDが取得した画像データを調べること、またはこれらの組合せによって促進される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記カメラは前記HMDの正面に配置される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ユーザから受信される入力によって、または、前記警告はもはや有効ではないという決定にもとづいて、前記透過モードから出るように移行するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記コンテンツの実行は前記HMDの一部であるコンピュータによって処理される、または、前記コンテンツの実行は前記HMDに有線または無線接続によって通信可能に接続されたコンピュータよって処理される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記コンテンツは、1以上のサーバを含むクラウドシステム上で実行される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 音、前記現実世界空間で検出された動き、前記HMDの前記ユーザによって提供されたオーディオコマンドまたはビジュアルコマンド、前記HMDで検出されたオーディオまたは入力、前記HMDまたはコントローラから提供されたコマンド、またはこれらの2以上の組合せに応答して、前記警告がさらにもたらされる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ヘッドマウントディスプレイ(HMD)のスクリーン上に提示されるコンテンツを実行する方法であって、
前記コンテンツを実行するステップと、
前記コンテンツのインタラクティブなシーンを前記HMDの前記スクリーン上にレンダリングするステップと、
前記コンテンツの実行の間に前記HMDの近くの範囲内で発生するトリガーイベントを検出するステップであって、前記トリガーイベントが前記トリガーイベントが発生した方向における前記スクリーンの一部を非透過モードから透過モードへと移行させ、前記透過モードは、前記HMDのカメラによって取得された、前記HMDのユーザが位置する現実世界空間の画像を提供するように構成される、ステップと、
一定の期間後、前記透過モードを中断して前記非透過モードに戻るステップとを含む、方法。 - 前記トリガーイベントの原因を特定するステップと、
前記HMDに提供すべき情報を選択するステップとをさらに含み、
前記情報は、警告、受信した電話の呼び出しに関するメッセージ、テキストメッセージに関するメッセージ、電子メールに関するメッセージ、前記ユーザの現実世界対象物への近接に関するメッセージ、前記現実世界空間の人の声に関するメッセージ、またはこれらの2以上の組合せを提供することを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。 - 前記トリガーイベントは、前記HMDを着用している前記ユーザの視線状態に応答して発生する、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記視線状態は、
(a)ある視線方向をある期間検出すること、
(b)ある視線パターンを一定の期間にわたって検出すること、または
(c)視線方向の変化を検出すること、のうちの一つである、請求項13に記載の方法。 - ヘッドマウントディスプレイ(HMD)のスクリーン上にレンダリングされるコンテンツを実行するためのプログラム命令を有するコンピュータ読み取り可能媒体であって、
前記スクリーン上にインタラクティブなシーンをレンダリングするために前記コンテンツを実行するためのプログラム命令と、
ユーザの頭に着用され、前記インタラクティブなシーンが前記スクリーン上にレンダリングされているときの前記HMDの向きを追跡するためのプログラム命令と、
前記ユーザの前記頭の動きが前記インタラクティブなシーンへのビュー方向の変化をもたらすように、前記HMDの向きの変化にもとづいて前記インタラクティブなシーンへのビュー方向を変化させるためのプログラム命令と、
前記HMDの前記ユーザに対する現実世界空間の現実世界対象物の相対的な位置を取得するように構成された前記HMDのカメラを用いて前記現実世界空間の画像を受け取るためのプログラム命令と、
少なくとも一つの現実世界対象物が前記HMDの前記ユーザに近接していることを検出するためのプログラム命令と、
前記HMDに提示すべきメッセージであって、前記少なくとも一つの現実世界対象物への近接を示すメッセージを生成するためのプログラム命令と、
前記少なくとも一つの現実世界対象物を視認する方向における前記スクリーンの一部を、前記HMDの前記カメラを用いて前記現実世界空間への少なくとも部分的なビューを提供する透過モードに移行するためのプログラム命令とを含む、コンピュータ読み取り可能媒体。 - 前記現実世界空間への前記部分的なビューは、輪郭線の形態、点線の形態、グレイアウト形態、破線形態、ゴースト形態、半透過形態、または完全に視認可能な形態のうちの一つを提供する、請求項15に記載のコンピュータ読み取り可能媒体。
- 前記メッセージは、前記HMDの前記スクリーン上のビジュアル形式、オーディオ形式、触覚形式、またはこれらの2以上の組合せの形態で前記HMDに提示される、請求項15に記載のコンピュータ読み取り可能媒体。
