Description
on maltitol](Maruyama T.,Terasawa M.,Ta
kiguchi T.,Shokuhin Kogyo,1984,27,no.24,pp.73−80)という文献に記載されるように、チューインガム組成物は、一般に45℃〜80℃に保たれる、カバーを備えたZアームミキサー中で様々な成分を高温条件下で混合することによって製造される。次に、生成物は、押し出し、圧延(rolling)、切断および冷却によって成形され、次に、包装され、その販売場所に輸送され、消費されるまでそこで保持される。その製造の時点とその消費日時との間に、数日間、あるいは数週間あり得る。しかしながら、この組成物の硬さは、全保存期間にわたって、また、(糖衣パンの変形を回避し、またはスティック包装速度を最適化するために)製造プロセス全体にわたって、できる限り高く保たれるべき重要な特性である。

この実施例は、任意に、シリカとの混合物で、粉末状のマルチトールを含有する様々なチューインガム組成物の製造に関する。各組成物について、高温条件下で様々な成分を混合する工程の後、製造中のその冷却中の硬さの変化を監視した。

−粉状マルチトール組成物:(SweetPearl(登録商標)P35 Roquette Freres):61.00%
−グリセロール:0.50%
−マルチトールシロップ、Lycasin(登録商標)85/55:2.50%
−ミント/バニラ香料(液体):1.00%
から構成される。
−ガムベースを、マイクロ波オーブン中で加熱し、ミキサー中に導入する。
−粉状マルチトール組成物の半分を加え、3分間にわたって混合を行う。
−マルチトールシロップLycasin(登録商標)85/55を加え、2分間にわたって混合を行う。
−粉状マルチトール組成物のもう半分および液体香料を加え、3分間にわたって混合を行う。
−グリセロールを加え、2分間にわたって混合を行う。
−液体香料を加え、2分間にわたって混合を行う。
−生成物をミキサーから取り出し、成形し、5mmの厚さになるまで圧延する。
この実施例において、上記の組成物1〜7を再び取り、それらの硬さを、室温で、t=0日目、1日目および15日目の時点で、経時的に監視した。得られた結果が、以下の表2に示される。
Claims (4)
- チューインガム組成物の硬さを増加させるための、粉末状のマルチトールを含有するチューインガム組成物における固結防止剤の使用であって、前記固結防止剤が、少なくとも200m2/gのBET比表面積を有することを特徴とする使用。
- 前記チューインガム組成物が、前記チューインガム組成物の総重量に対する乾燥重量によって示されるパーセンテージで、
− 4.5%〜95%の少なくとも1つのガムベース、
− 1%〜95%の粉状マルチトール組成物、
− 0.1%〜10%の少なくとも1つの香料、および
− マルチトールの乾燥重量に対する乾燥重量で、0.1%〜20%の少なくとも1つの固結防止剤を含有し、
前記固結防止剤が、少なくとも200m2/gのBET比表面積を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の使用。 - 前記固結防止剤が、少なくとも200m2/gのBET比表面積を有する微粉化シリカであることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の使用。
- 使用される前記マルチトールが、0.1m2/g〜10m2/gのBET比表面積を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の使用。
