Description
複数の導電体のセットを含むケーブルであって、各導電体のセットがケーブルの長さに沿って延在し、各絶縁された導体が誘電性材料によって囲まれた中心導体を含む、2つ以上の絶縁された導体と、導電体のセットの対向する第1及び第2の側に配置されており、横断面において、第1及び第2の遮蔽フィルムのカバー部分が組み合わされて導電体のセットを実質的に囲み、第1及び第2の遮蔽フィルムの挟まれた部分が組み合わされて導電体のセットの両側で導電体のセットの挟まれた部分を形成するように配置されているカバー部分及び挟まれた部分を含む、第1及び第2の導電遮蔽フィルムと、導電体のセットの挟まれた部分で第1遮蔽フィルムを第2遮蔽フィルムに結合させている接着剤層と、を含み、絶縁材料がポリオレフィン100重量部と、デカブロモジフェニルエタン、N,N’−エチレン−ビス(テトラブロモフタルイミド)、ポリ(ペンタブロモベンジルアクリレート)、及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、臭素化難燃剤18〜40重量部と、三酸化アンチモン12〜20重量部と、を含む、ケーブルである。
燃焼特性試験法
ケーブルの燃焼特性は、FV−2/VW−1試験法(Section 9.4 in UL Standards for Safety for Wire and Cable Test Methods,UL 2556,Second Edition,dated July 19,2007)によって測定した。ケーブルの試験サンプルの長さは、1メートルであった。3つの各サンプルに15秒間炎をあててから離し、合計5つの用途に対してこれを繰り返した。これらのサンプルの燃焼は60秒以内で終わり、下方に置いた脱脂綿への落下による点火はなく、又、上方に置いたクラフト紙を燃やすことも、焦がすこともなく、これらは許容可能と見なした。前記5つのサンプルのうちの1つでも許容レベルを満たすことができなかった場合、その例は試験に不合格と見なした。結果は「合格」又は「不合格」として報告した。
挿入損失は図5に図示される装置を使用して測定した。図5を参照すると、約1メートルの長さを有するケーブル試験サンプル505の両端部は、パドルカード504を試験するためにはんだ付けした。パドルカード504上の嵌合パッドは、SFF−8086に適合し、MiniSASボードマウントコネクタ503との接続を容易にした。MiniSASボードマウントコネクタ503は、テストアダプタPCボードアセンブリ502に取り付けた。テストアダプタPCボードアセンブリ502は、Agilent Technologies(Santa Clara,CA,U.S.A.)から商品名43.5GHz 4−PORT PNA−X NETWORK ANALYZERで入手可能な回路アナライザ506に、3.5mmのSMAコネクタによって接続した。ケーブルのSパラメータは、回路アナライザ506を使用して最初の試験手順中に試験した。試験パドルカード504及びPCボードアセンブリ502は、測定値に組み込まれなかった。測定値は、異なるケーブル試験サンプル505の4つの差分信号対を取った。結果を表3に示す。
インピーダンスは時間領域反射率計(TDR、Tektronic Inc(Beaverton,ORTDR)から入手可能なモデルCSA8000)によって、立上がり時間35ps(26kW)で測定した。全てのケーブルは、長さ1メートルで測定した。
DGDE−1430 NT材料(デカブロモジフェニルエタン及びSb2O3と組み合わされたエチレン/1−ヘキセンコポリマーを含む)を絶縁材料DM1として指定した。絶縁材料DM2〜DM7は、DGDE−1430 NTをDGDL 3364 NT(エチレン/1−ヘキセンコポリマー)と、又はPRO−FAX EP315J(プロピレン/ヘキセンコポリマー)とを、表1に示される重量部でブレンドして準備した。ブレンドは、押出成形機バレルに混合物を投入する前に、この2つのポリマー樹脂を、樹脂ミキサで混合することにより行った。

- 複数の導電体のセットであって、各導電体のセットがケーブルの長さに沿って延在し、
各絶縁された導体が誘電性材料によって囲まれている中心導体を含む、2つ以上の絶縁された導体と、
前記導電体のセットの対向する第1及び第2の側に配置されており、横断面において、第1及び第2の導電遮蔽フィルムのカバー部分が組み合わされて前記導電体のセットを実質的に囲み、第1及び第2の導電遮蔽フィルムの挟まれた部分が組み合わされて前記導電体のセットの両側で前記導電体のセットの挟まれた部分を形成するように配置されているカバー部分及び挟まれた部分を含む、第1及び第2の導電遮蔽フィルムと、
前記導電体のセットの前記挟まれた部分で前記第1の導電遮蔽フィルムを前記第2の導電遮蔽フィルムに結合させている接着剤層と、を含む、導電体のセットを含み、
前記誘電性材料が、
ポリオレフィン100重量部と、
デカブロモジフェニルエタン、N,N’−エチレン−ビス(テトラブロモフタルイミド)、ポリ(ペンタブロモベンジルアクリレート)、及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、臭素化難燃剤18〜40重量部と、
