Description
以下、本発明の実施例(実施例1)になる車両用灯具の詳細について、添付の図面を参照しながら説明する。
<走行ランプ機能>
これは、自動車のヘッドライトの一部において車両の走行時に線状に発光する、所謂、DRL(Daytime Running Lamp)機能である。
<方向指示ランプ機能>
これは、ヘッドライトの一部において、自動車の走行方向を指示するために発光する、所謂、ターンシグナルランプ機能である。
<ヘッドランプ機能>
ヘッドランプの主要な機能は、走行路面に照明光を照射するための機能である。
続いて、本発明の他の実施例(実施例2)について、添付の図12〜図21を用いながら、以下に説明する。なお、この他の実施例になる車両用灯具は、更に、路面に映像を投写するものである。

[アスペクト比]=[運転者からみた投写像の縦サイズ]/[運転者からみた投写像の横サイズ]
図21では、運転者の指示に基づき、投写像に右折表示として、右曲がりの矢印を表示した状態では表示像は運転者にとって見やすいように、縦長のアスペクト比で矢印を表示する。これは、道路に描画されている速度制限の例えば「60」の表示を縦長にしているのと同様の理由である。

- 車両の先端部に取り付け可能な車両用灯具であって、
透光性の樹脂からなり、入射面と出射面とを少なくとも含む導光体と、
照射光を発生する面状の発光部と、
前記発光部からの面状の光を非円形形状の光に変換して、前記導光体の入射面に入射する光学系と、

前記レンズ手段は、前記導光体の入射面に形成された回折格子であり、
前記面状の発光部は、複数の半導体発光素子から構成された複合光源が、少なくとも1つ以上、面状に配置して構成され、
前記面状の発光部を構成する前記複合光源の複数の半導体発光素子のそれぞれには、ライトガイドが設けられる、車両用灯具。 - 請求項1に記載の車両用灯具であって、
前記導光体の前記入射面及び前記出射面とは異なる1つの端面に、更に、半導体発光素子を取り付け、前記半導体発光素子からの発光を前記導光体内に導くと共に、前記導光体の1つの端面の近傍から外部に出射する、車両用灯具。 - 請求項1に記載の車両用灯具であって、
前記導光体の前記入射面及び前記出射面とは異なる1つの端面に、更に、他の半導体発光素子を取り付け、前記他の半導体発光素子からの発光を前記導光体内に導くと共に、前記導光体の前記出射面から外部に出射する、車両用灯具。 - 請求項1に記載の車両用灯具であって、
前記導光体の前記入射面及び前記出射面とは異なる1つの端面に、更に、半導体発光素子と他の半導体発光素子を取り付け、前記半導体発光素子からの発光を前記導光体内に導くと共に、前記導光体の1つの端面の近傍から外部に出射するようにし、更には、前記他の半導体発光素子からの発光を前記導光体内に導くと共に、前記導光体の前記出射面から外部に出射する、車両用灯具。 - 請求項4に記載の車両用灯具であって、
前記導光体には、取り付けられた前記半導体発光素子と前記他の半導体発光素子が取り付けられた前記1つの端面の近傍に、それぞれの前記半導体発光素子からの光を分離するための溝が形成される、車両用灯具。 - 請求項1に記載の車両用灯具において、
前記導光体の前記出射面には、複数の光拡散部が形成される、車両用灯具。 - 請求項1に記載の車両用灯具において、
前記面状の発光部は、発光領域が選択的に駆動制御が可能である、車両用灯具。 - 請求項1に記載の車両用灯具において、
前記光学系は、少なくとも、前記面状の発光部からの光を集光するレンズ、又は、湾曲した反射面を有する反射鏡を備える、車両用灯具。 - 請求項1に記載の車両用灯具において、
前記光学系は、更に、映像表示素子を備えており、前記映像表示素子により得られる映像を前記車両の前方に投射する、車両用灯具。
