前記熱可塑性樹脂は、ニトリル系単量体と共にハロゲン化ビニル系単量体および/もしくは(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系単量体、または、ニトリル系単量体と共にカルボキシル基含有単量体、を含む重合性成分を重合してなる、
ことを特徴とする。
前記有機基材成分がエチレン系共重合体であることが好ましい。
前記熱膨張性微小球の質量割合が前記熱膨張性微小球および有機基材成分の合計量の10〜80質量%であることが好ましい。
19mmふるい目の通過質量百分率が95〜100質量%、13.2mmふるい目の通過質量百分率が70〜100質量%、4.75mmふるい目の通過質量百分率が23〜100質量%、2.36mmふるい目の通過質量百分率が10〜80質量%、及び、0.075mmふるい目の通過質量百分率が1〜10質量%であるように配合される骨材と、
アスファルトと、
熱可塑性樹脂からなる外殻と、それに内包され且つ加熱することによって気化する発泡剤と、から構成される熱膨張性微小球と、有機基材成分と、を含むアスファルト混合物製造用組成物と、を含む、
ことを特徴とする。
また、本発明の第3の観点に係るアスファルト混合物は、
骨材と、
ポリマー改質アスファルトH型のアスファルトと、
熱可塑性樹脂からなる外殻と、それに内包され且つ加熱することによって気化する発泡剤と、から構成される熱膨張性微小球と、有機基材成分と、を含むアスファルト混合物製造用組成物と、を含む、
ことを特徴とする。
アスファルト混合物を敷きならして締め固めるアスファルト舗装方法であって、
前記アスファルト混合物として本発明の第2の観点又は第3の観点に係るアスファルト混合物を用いる、
ことを特徴とする。
重合工程では、油性混合物は連鎖移動剤等をさらに含有していてもよい。
アスファルト混合物製造用組成物をその長さ方向に垂直な面で切断したときの断面の形状は、アスファルト混合物製造用組成物の用途等によって適宜決められるが、たとえば、円形、楕円形、多角形、星型、中空円形等を挙げることができる。
(2)次いで、得られた予備混練物を1軸押出機、2軸押出機、多軸押出機等の押出機に投入して所望の太さで溶融混合物を押し出し、ホットカットペレタイザーでペレット化するペレット化工程。
容量10Lの加圧ニーダーを用いて、有機基材成分としてエチレン−酢酸ビニル共重合体(三井・デュポンポリケミカル(株)製のエバフレックス、融点61℃、比重0.96g/cm3)3.0kgを溶融混練し、その温度が70℃に到達したときに、マツモトマイクロスフェアーFN−100MD(松本油脂製薬(株)製の熱膨張性微小球、ニトリル系コポリマー、平均粒子径20〜30μm、膨張開始温度125〜135℃、最大膨張温度165〜180℃)3.0kgを配合して均一に混合し予備混合物とした。得られた予備混合物をシリンダー口径40mmの二軸押出機に供給して混練温度70℃で押し出した後、ペレタイザーでペレット化して、熱膨張性微小球の質量割合が50質量%、比重0.94g/cm3、直径3mm、長さ4mmのペレット状のアスファルト混合物製造用組成物を得た。
表2に示すように、アスファルト及びアスファルト混合物製造用組成物の質量割合を変更した以外は実施例1と同様にして、実施例2〜6のアスファルト混合物(供試体)を得た。また、比較のため、アスファルト混合物製造用組成物を添加しない場合についても同様に、比較例1のアスファルト混合物(供試体)を得た。これらの供試体についても実施例1と同様にして、アスファルト舗装体を施工した。
アスファルト混合物の締め固めた状態を確認するため、アスファルト混合物の締固め特性(密度)の測定を行った。締固め特性の測定は、社団法人 日本道路協会発行の「舗装調査・試験法便覧」(平成19年6月)の「ジャイレトリー試験機によるアスファルト混合物の締固め試験方法」に記載の試験方法に準じて供試体の作製を行い、表3に示す締固め条件で締め固めたときの供試体の密度を測定した。本試験は、アスファルト混合物に垂直方向の荷重を加えた状態で旋回運動によるニーディング作用を与えて供試体の締固め特性(密度)を評価するものである。結果を表4に示す。なお、各供試体の密度は供試体3個の平均値とした。
実施例1で用いた熱膨張性微小球をマツモトマイクロスフェアーFN−180D(松本油脂製薬(株)製、ニトリル系コポリマー、平均粒子径35〜45μm、膨張開始温度140〜155℃、最大膨張温度175〜185℃)に変更する以外は実施例1と同様にして、熱膨張性微小球の質量割合が50質量%、比重0.95g/cm3、直径3mm、長さ4mmのペレット状のアスファルト混合物製造用組成物を得た。

- 熱可塑性樹脂からなる外殻と、それに内包され且つ加熱することによって気化する発泡剤と、から構成される熱膨張性微小球と、
有機基材成分と、を含み、
前記熱可塑性樹脂は、ニトリル系単量体と共にハロゲン化ビニル系単量体および/もしくは(メタ)アクリル酸エステル系単量体、または、ニトリル系単量体と共にカルボキシル基含有単量体、を含む重合性成分を重合してなる、
ことを特徴とするアスファルト混合物製造用組成物。 - ペレット状の形状を有する、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアスファルト混合物製造用組成物。
- 前記有機基材成分がエチレン系共重合体である、ことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のアスファルト混合物製造用組成物。
- 前記熱膨張性微小球の質量割合が前記熱膨張性微小球および有機基材成分の合計量の10〜80質量%である、ことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のアスファルト混合物製造用組成物。
- 19mmふるい目の通過質量百分率が95〜100質量%、13.2mmふるい目の通過質量百分率が70〜100質量%、4.75mmふるい目の通過質量百分率が23〜100質量%、2.36mmふるい目の通過質量百分率が10〜80質量%、及び、0.075mmふるい目の通過質量百分率が1〜10質量%であるように配合される骨材と、
アスファルトと、
熱可塑性樹脂からなる外殻と、それに内包され且つ加熱することによって気化する発泡剤と、から構成される熱膨張性微小球と、有機基材成分と、を含むアスファルト混合物製造用組成物と、を含む、

ことを特徴とするアスファルト混合物。 - 前記アスファルト混合物製造用組成物の質量割合が前記アスファルトに対し0.1〜10質量%である、ことを特徴とする請求項5または6に記載のアスファルト混合物。
- アスファルト混合物を敷きならして締め固めるアスファルト舗装方法であって、
前記アスファルト混合物として請求項5乃至7のいずれか1項に記載のアスファルト混合物を用いる、
ことを特徴とするアスファルト舗装方法。 - 敷きならした前記アスファルト混合物を、アスファルトフィニッシャに設置された締固め装置のみで締め固める、ことを特徴とする請求項8に記載のアスファルト舗装方法。
