Claims (6)
- 鋼材からなる一対の板材を重ね合わせて点接合する点接合装置であって、
前記一対の板材の重ね合わせ部とツールとを互いに相対変位させる変位駆動器と、
前記ツールを回転させる回転駆動器と、
前記重ね合わせ部に前記ツールを回転させた状態で押し込んで摩擦撹拌点接合をするように前記変位駆動器及び前記回転駆動器を制御するコントローラと、を備え、
前記コントローラは、前記重ね合わせ部のうち抵抗点溶接で溶接される複数の抵抗点溶接部の間の領域に少なくとも1つの摩擦撹拌点接合部を形成するように前記変位駆動器を制御すると共に、前記ツールが前記摩擦撹拌点接合部を前記抵抗点溶接部よりも大径にするように構成されている、点接合装置。 - 前記コントローラは、前記摩擦撹拌点接合部と前記抵抗点溶接部との間の接合ピッチを、前記一対の板材に摩擦撹拌点接合部及び抵抗点溶接部の対を形成した場合の引張せん断強度が前記一対の板材に抵抗点溶接部の対を形成した場合の引張せん断強度よりも高くなる接合ピッチに設定する、請求項1に記載の点接合装置。
- 前記摩擦撹拌点接合部と前記抵抗点溶接部との間の接合ピッチをYとし、前記一対の板材の各々の板厚をXとしたとき、
前記コントローラは、前記板材が低炭素鋼の場合には、Y≦−1.4X2+18.6X+0.6を満たすように前記接合ピッチを設定し、前記板材が中炭素鋼又は低合金鋼の場合に、Y≦−1.9X2+25.5X+2.1を満たすように前記接合ピッチを設定する、請求項1又は2に記載の点接合装置。 - 前記コントローラは、前記摩擦撹拌点接合部と前記抵抗点溶接部との間の接合ピッチを、前記抵抗点溶接部の半径と前記摩擦撹拌点接合部の半径との合計よりも長い値に設定する、請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の点接合装置。
- 鋼材からなる一対の板材を互いに重ね合わせて点接合する点接合方法であって、
前記一対の板材の重ね合わせ部を抵抗点溶接で点接合することで複数の抵抗点溶接部を形成する抵抗点溶接工程と、
前記重ね合わせ部のうち前記複数の抵抗点溶接部の間の領域を摩擦撹拌点接合で点接合することで少なくとも1つの摩擦撹拌点接合部を形成すると共に、前記摩擦撹拌点接合部を前記抵抗点溶接部よりも大径にする摩擦撹拌点接合工程と、を備える、点接合方法。 - 鋼材からなる一対の板材を互いに重ね合わせて点接合してなる継手構造であって、
前記一対の板材の重ね合わせ部に形成された複数の抵抗点溶接部と、
前記重ね合わせ部のうち前記複数の抵抗点溶接部の間の領域に形成され且つ前記抵抗点溶接部よりも大径である少なくとも1つの摩擦撹拌点接合部と、を備える、継手構造。
