Description
本発明は一般に、金属接合の分野、さらにより特定には、レーザーエネルギーの熱源を使用した超合金材料の溶接、補修および付加製造、およびレーザー溶接用のフラックス材料に関する。
溶接法は、溶接される材料の種類に依存して著しく変化する。いくつかの材料は様々な条件下でより容易に溶接される一方で、他の材料は周囲の基材を劣化させることなく構造的に健全な接合を達成するために特別な方法を必要とする。
本発明者らは、フラックス材料、および最も溶接が困難な超合金材料および他の合金材料をうまく接合および/または補修するために使用できる材料の接合方法を開発した。本発明の方法の実施態様は有利には、レーザー溶融および再凝固工程の間、粉末化されたフラックス材料を超合金基材上に施与する。粉末化されたフラックス材料は、ビームのエネルギー伝送および選択的な捕捉、不純物の浄化、雰囲気のシールド、ビードの形成、冷却温度の制御および合金の添加を提供して、超合金材料の割れのない接合を、高温のホットボックス溶接の必要性またはチルプレートの使用または不活性なシールドガスもしくは真空条件の使用なく実施するために効果的である。
(1) 前述の公知のフラックスは典型的にはそれらの電気的特性(例えばアーク安定性、導電性)をもたらすように考えて配合され、なぜなら、それらは電気的エネルギーを必要とする加熱工程において使用されるからである。前述の考慮事項はハイブリッドレーザーおよびアーク加工については有効な要因であり得るのだが、フラックス材料の電気的特性は、レーザーエネルギーのみの施与を必要とする加工に対して関係する考慮事項ではない。

1〜30質量%の金属炭酸塩
を含み、
前記フラックス組成物は0.5質量%未満の鉄しか含有せず、且つ
前記フラックス組成物は0.5質量%未満のLi 2 O、Na 2 OまたはK 2 Oしか含有しない、
前記フラックス組成物。
[実施態様2]
組成物の総質量に対して15〜30質量%の、CaO、CaF 2 、MgO、MnO、MnO 2 、NbO、NbO 2 、Nb 2 O 5 、ZrO 2 およびTiO 2 からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つを含む、実施態様1に記載の組成物。
[実施態様3]
組成物の総質量に対して5質量%以下の、チタン、チタン合金、酸化チタン、チタン石、アルミニウム、アルミニウム合金、炭酸アルミニウム、ドウソナイト、ニッケルチタン合金、ジルコニウムおよびジルコニウム合金からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つを含む、実施態様1に記載の組成物。
[実施態様4]
少なくとも2つの金属炭酸塩を含む、実施態様1に記載の組成物。
[実施態様5]
CaCO 3 、MgCO 3 およびMnCO 3 を含む、実施態様1に記載の組成物。
[実施態様6]
組成物の総質量に対して7.5質量%を上回るジルコニアを含む、実施態様1に記載の組成物。
[実施態様7]
さらに金属炭化物を含む、実施態様1に記載の組成物。
[実施態様8]
組成物の総質量に対して
5〜30質量%のAl 2 O 3 、
10〜50質量%のCaF 2 、
5〜30質量%のSiO 2 、
1〜30質量%の、CaCO 3 、Al 2 (CO 3 ) 3 、NaAl(CO 3 )(OH) 2 、MgCO 3 、MnCO 3 、CoCO 3 、NiCO 3 およびLa 2 (CO 3 ) 3 からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つ、および
15〜30質量%の、CaO、MgO、MnO、ZrO 2 およびTiO 2 からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つ
を含む、実施態様1に記載の組成物。
[実施態様9]
金属ケイ酸塩、金属フッ化物、金属炭酸塩およびジルコニア以外の金属酸化物からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つ、および
組成物の総質量に対して7.5質量%を上回るジルコニア
を含む、フラックス組成物。
[実施態様10]
25質量%未満のジルコニアを含む、実施態様9に記載のフラックス組成物。
[実施態様11]
フラックス組成物が0.5質量%未満の鉄しか含有しない、実施態様9に記載のフラックス組成物。
[実施態様12]
金属酸化物、金属ケイ酸塩、金属フッ化物および金属炭酸塩からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つ、および
金属炭化物
を含む、フラックス組成物。
[実施態様13]
10質量%未満の金属炭化物を含む、実施態様12に記載のフラックス組成物。
[実施態様14]
炭化ホウ素、炭化アルミニウム、炭化ケイ素、炭化カルシウム、炭化チタン、炭化バナジウム、炭化クロム、炭化ジルコニウム、炭化ニッケル、炭化ハフニウムおよび炭化タングステンからなる群から選択される少なくとも1つを含む、実施態様12に記載のフラックス組成物。
[実施態様15]
金属酸化物、金属ケイ酸塩および金属フッ化物からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つ、および
少なくとも2つの金属炭酸塩
を含む、フラックス組成物。
[実施態様16]
CaCO 3 と、MgCO 3 およびMnCO 3 からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つとを含む、実施態様15に記載のフラックス組成物。
[実施態様17]
CaCO 3 、MgCO 3 およびMnCO 3 を含む、実施態様15に記載のフラックス組成物。
[実施態様18]
実施態様1に記載の組成物を含むフラックス材料の存在下で金属材料を溶融し、溶融スラグの層で被覆された溶融池を形成すること、および
前記溶融池および前記溶融スラグを冷却および凝固させ、固体のスラグの層によって被覆された金属層を形成することを含む方法。
[実施態様19]
フラックス材料の粉末層によって被覆された合金材料の粉末層を含む、粉末化された材料を、超合金基材の表面上に予め配置するまたは供給すること、
前記粉末化された材料をレーザービームで溶融し、溶融スラグの層によって被覆された溶融池を形成すること、および
前記溶融池および前記溶融スラグを冷却および凝固させ、超合金基材上に所望の超合金材料クラッドの層を形成すること
を含む、実施態様18に記載の方法。
[実施態様20]
以下:
フラックス材料の粉末層の厚さが5mm〜15mmの範囲であること、および
フラックス材料の量が固体のスラグの層の厚さが0.5mm〜5mmの範囲であるように選択されること
の少なくとも1つが満たされる、実施態様19に記載の方法。
Claims (13)
- 超合金材料をレーザー溶接するためのフラックス組成物であって、組成物の総質量に対して
5〜85質量%の金属酸化物、金属ケイ酸塩またはその両方、
10〜70質量%の金属フッ化物、および
1〜30質量%の金属炭酸塩
を含み、
前記フラックス組成物は0.5質量%未満の鉄しか含有せず、且つ
前記フラックス組成物は0.5質量%未満のLi2O、Na2OまたはK2Oしか含有せず、
前記フラックス組成物が、前記金属炭酸塩として、炭酸カルシウムと、炭酸マグネシウムおよび炭酸マンガンの少なくとも1つとの2成分の混合物、または炭酸カルシウム、炭酸マグネシウムおよび炭酸マンガンの3成分の混合物を含む、
前記フラックス組成物。 - 組成物の総質量に対して15〜30質量%の、CaO、CaF2、MgO、MnO、MnO2、NbO、NbO2、Nb2O5、ZrO2およびTiO2からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 組成物の総質量に対して5質量%以下の、チタン、チタン合金、酸化チタン、チタン石、アルミニウム、アルミニウム合金、炭酸アルミニウム、ドウソナイト、ニッケルチタン合金、ジルコニウムおよびジルコニウム合金からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- CaCO3、MgCO3およびMnCO3を含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 組成物の総質量に対して7.5質量%を上回るジルコニアを含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- さらに金属炭化物を含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 組成物の総質量に対して
5〜30質量%のAl2O3、
10〜50質量%のCaF2、
5〜30質量%のSiO2、
1〜30質量%の、炭酸カルシウムと、炭酸マグネシウムおよび炭酸マンガンの少なくとも1つとの2成分の混合物、または炭酸カルシウム、炭酸マグネシウムおよび炭酸マンガンの3成分の混合物、およびAl2(CO3)3、NaAl(CO3)(OH)2、CoCO3、NiCO3およびLa2(CO3)3からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つ、および
15〜30質量%の、CaO、MgO、MnO、ZrO2およびTiO2からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つ
を含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。 - 25質量%未満のジルコニアを含む、請求項5に記載のフラックス組成物。
- 10質量%未満の金属炭化物を含む、請求項6に記載のフラックス組成物。
- 炭化ホウ素、炭化アルミニウム、炭化ケイ素、炭化カルシウム、炭化チタン、炭化バナジウム、炭化クロム、炭化ジルコニウム、炭化ニッケル、炭化ハフニウムおよび炭化タングステンからなる群から選択される少なくとも1つを含む、請求項6に記載のフラックス組成物。
- 請求項1に記載の組成物を含むフラックス材料の存在下で超合金材料をレーザービームで溶融し、溶融スラグの層で被覆された溶融池を形成すること、および
前記溶融池および前記溶融スラグを冷却および凝固させ、固体のスラグの層によって被覆された超合金層を形成することを含む、超合金材料をレーザー溶接するための方法。 - フラックス材料の粉末層によって被覆された超合金材料の粉末層を含む、粉末化された材料を、超合金基材の表面上に予め配置するまたは供給すること、
前記粉末化された材料をレーザービームで溶融し、溶融スラグの層によって被覆された溶融池を形成すること、および
前記溶融池および前記溶融スラグを冷却および凝固させ、超合金基材上に所望の超合金材料クラッドの層を形成すること
を含む、請求項11に記載の方法。 - 以下:
フラックス材料の粉末層の厚さが5mm〜15mmの範囲であること、および
フラックス材料の量が固体のスラグの層の厚さが0.5mm〜5mmの範囲であるように選択されること
の少なくとも1つが満たされる、請求項12に記載の方法。
