Description
(但し、αはNaまたはKいずれか1種、βはNbまたはTaのいずれか1種を表す。)で表され、x、y、aがモル比で0.005≦x≦0.050、0.005≦y≦0.100、0.96≦a≦1.04であることを特徴とする。
(1−x−y)[(Bi0.5Na0.5)aTiO3]+x[BiaAlO3]+y[(Bi0.5α0.5)a(Mg1/3β2/3)O3] (2)
(但し、αはNaまたはKのいずれか1種、βはNbまたはTaのいずれか1種を表す。)で表され、前記第2化合物のモル比に相当するx、前記第3化合物のモル比に相当するyが、0.005≦x≦0.050、0.005≦y≦0.100、0.96≦a≦1.04で構成されている。
この成形体を、400〜800℃で2〜4時間程度熱処理してバインダーを揮発させ、950〜1300℃で2〜4時間程度本焼成する。本焼成の際の昇温速度および降温速度は、共に例えば50〜300℃/時間程度とする。本焼成の後、得られた焼結体を必要に応じて研磨し、電極を設ける。その後、25〜150℃のシリコンオイル中で5〜10kV/mmの電界を5分〜1時間程度印加して分極処理を行う。これにより、圧電組成物により形成される圧電磁器が得られ、圧電素子として使用することができる。
出発原料として、酸化ビスマス粉末、炭酸ナトリウム粉末、炭酸マグネシウム粉末、酸化ニオブ粉末、酸化チタン、酸化アルミニウム粉末を用意し、100℃以上で十分に乾燥させた後、[Bi0.5(1+x)Na0.5(1−x−y)α0.5y]a[Ti(1−x−y)Alx(Mg1/3β2/3)y]O3(但し、αはNa、βはNbを表す。)の組成式においてaは1.00とし、xおよびyの範囲を0.005≦x≦0.050、0.005≦y≦0.100の組成となるようにそれらを秤量した。次に秤量した出発原料をボールミルにより水中で約16時間混合した後、十分乾燥し、プレス成形して、850℃で約2時間仮焼した。続いて、この仮焼物をボールミルにより水中で約16時間粉砕した後、再び乾燥し、バインダーとしてポリビニルアルコール(PVA)水溶液を加えて造粒した。
また、比較例1〜13では、出発原料の配合比(xとy)を表1に示したように変化させたこと以外、他は上述した実施例1〜14と同一の方法で試料の作製、および特性評価を行った。測定結果を表1に示す。
出発原料として、酸化ビスマス粉末、炭酸ナトリウム粉末、炭酸カリウム、炭酸マグネシウム粉末、酸化ニオブ粉末、酸化チタン、酸化アルミニウム粉末を用意し、100℃以上で十分に乾燥させた後、[Bi0.5(1+x)Na0.5(1−x−y)α0.5y]a[Ti(1−x−y)Alx(Mg1/3β2/3)y]O3(但し、αはK、βはNbを表す。)の組成式においてaは1.00とし、xおよびyの範囲を0.005≦x≦0.050、0.005≦y≦0.100の組成となるようにそれらを秤量し、実施例1〜14と同様の方法で試料の作製、および特性評価を行った。測定結果を表2に示す。
また、比較例12〜22では、αをKとし、かつ出発原料の配合比(xとy)を表2に示したように変化させたこと以外、他は上述した実施例15〜28と方法で試料の作製、および特性評価を行った。測定結果を表2に示す。
出発原料として、酸化ビスマス粉末、炭酸ナトリウム粉末、炭酸マグネシウム粉末、酸化ニオブ粉末、酸化チタン、酸化アルミニウム粉末を用意し、100℃以上で十分に乾燥させた後、[Bi0.5(1+x)Na0.5(1−x−y)α0.5y]a[Ti(1−x−y)Alx(Mg1/3β2/3)y]O3(但し、αはNa、βはNbを表す。)の組成式においてaは0.96≦a≦1.04とし、xは0.030、yは0.020の組成となるようにそれらを秤量し、実施例1〜14と同様の方法に試料の作製、および特性評価を行った。測定結果を表3に示す。
また、比較例26〜27では、出発原料の配合比(a)を表3に示したように変化させたこと以外、他は上述した実施例29〜31と同一の条件で方法で試料の作製、および特性評価を行った。測定結果を表3に示す。

- 組成式[Bi0.5(1+x)Na0.5(1−x−y)α0.5y]a[Ti(1−x−y)Alx(Mg1/3β2/3)y]O3
(但し、αはNaまたはKのいずれか1種、βはNbまたはTaのいずれか1種を表す。)で表され、x、y、aがモル比で0.005≦x≦0.050、0.005≦y≦0.100、0.96≦a≦1.04であることを特徴とする圧電組成物。 - 請求項1に記載の圧電組成物を備えた圧電素子。
