本実施の形態では、本発明の一態様に係る新規有機化合物について説明する。

本実施の形態では、実施の形態1乃至3で示した一般式(G100)、(G10)、(G11)、(G12)、もしくは(G20)で表される有機化合物、又は該有機化合物を含有する液晶組成物を適用した液晶素子及び液晶表示装置について、図面を参照して説明する。
本発明の一態様に係る液晶表示装置として、パッシブマトリクス型の液晶表示装置、アクティブマトリクス型の液晶表示装置を提供することができる。本実施の形態は、本発明の一態様に係るアクティブマトリクス型の液晶表示装置の例を、図2を用いて説明する。
本実施の形態では、本発明の一態様の液晶表示装置に適用することが可能な酸化物半導体を含むトランジスタについて説明する。
本実施の形態では、上記実施の形態で説明したリフレッシュレートを低減する意義に関して説明を行う。
本明細書に開示する液晶表示装置は、さまざまな電子機器(遊技機も含む)に適用することができる。電子機器としては、例えば、テレビジョン装置(テレビ、またはテレビジョン受信機ともいう)、コンピュータ用などのモニタ、デジタルカメラ、デジタルビデオカメラ、デジタルフォトフレーム、携帯電話機(携帯電話、携帯電話装置ともいう)、携帯型ゲーム機、携帯情報端末、音響再生装置、パチンコ機などの大型ゲーム機などが挙げられる。
1.0g(4.1mmol)の4−(trans−4−n−プロピルシクロヘキシル)フェニルボロン酸と、0.85g(4.9mmol)の2−ブロモフルオロベンゼンと、0.062g(0.20mmol)のトリス(2−メチルフェニル)ホスフィンと、20mLのトルエンと、20mLのエタノールと、4.9mLの2M炭酸カリウム水溶液をフラスコに加え、減圧下で撹拌しながら脱気し、脱気後フラスコ内の雰囲気を窒素置換した。
6.8g(22mmol)の1−ブロモ−4−(trans−4−n−ペンチルシクロヘキシル)ベンゼンと、118mLのテトラヒドロフラン(THF)を300mLの三口フラスコへ入れ−80℃で攪拌した。この混合物へ15mL(24mmol)のブチルリチウムを滴下し、−80℃で2時間攪拌した。この混合物へ3.2mL(29mmol)のトリメチルボラートを加え室温で24時間攪拌した。この混合物へ希塩酸を加え室温で1時間攪拌した。
0.90g(5.1mmol)の3−ブロモ−2−フルオロピリジンと、1.4g(5.1mmol)の4−(trans−4−n−ペンチルシクロヘキシル)フェニルボロン酸と、80mg(0.26mmol)のトリス(2−メチルフェニル)ホスフィンと、13mLのトルエンと、13mLのエタノールと、5.1mLの2M炭酸カリウム水溶液をフラスコに加え、減圧下で撹拌しながら脱気し、脱気後フラスコ内の雰囲気を窒素置換した。この混合物に12mg(51μmol)の酢酸パラジウム(II)を加え、90℃で17.5時間攪拌した。

- 下記一般式(G12)で表される有機化合物。
(一般式(G12)中、Ar31は、シクロアルキレン基又はシクロアルケニレン基を表し、R31は、炭素数2乃至11のアルキル基又はアルコキシ基を表す。また、X32乃至X34は、それぞれ独立に水素原子、又はフッ素原子を表す。ただし、X32乃至X34のうちフッ素原子の数は、2以下である。) - 下記式(200)で表される有機化合物。
