Description
その後、有機相中に含まれる錯体ポリマーの固液分離を行うが、当該工程は先述したように遠心分離によるのが好ましい。
容量50mLの分液漏斗を用意し、これに表1に記載の濃度の抽出剤を含有する有機相10mLとYCl3の塩酸溶液(0.4mol/LのYCl3と0.06mol/LのHClとの混合溶液)20mLとを添加し、10分間振とう後、静置して有機相と水相に分離し、水相を採取した。その後、同様の抽出操作を2回繰り返した。3回抽出後の有機相を遠心分離し、上澄みを6mol/Lの塩酸で逆抽出しYと抽出剤の錯体を分解し、得られた有機相について、アルカリで中和滴定し、抽出剤濃度を測定した。
供試水相として0.06mol/LのYCl3と0.025mol/LのHClとの混合溶液を調製した。容量50mLの分液漏斗に、供試水相10mLと、10vol%(0.32mol/L)EHPNAと1vol%(0.031mol/L)D2EHPAの混合有機相(希釈剤は市販の飽和炭化水素系溶剤であるShellsol D70を使用)10mLを入れ、室温(26℃)にて10分間、縦型振とう器を用いて激しく振り混ぜ、静置して水相を採取した。このとき有機相での沈殿生成はなかった。さらに供試水相10mLを加え、同様に振とうすると、分液漏斗内は白濁した。遠心分離をかけると、上から有機相、白色沈殿、水相の順に分離したので、有機相と白色沈殿を回収し、分液漏斗に戻し、新たに供試水相10mLを加え、同様に振とう、遠心分離を行った。各抽出回において採取した水相中のY濃度をICP発光分光分析装置により定量した。
Claims (11)
- 金属を溶媒抽出するためのリン酸エステル系抽出剤を含有する溶媒抽出用の有機溶媒に3価の希土類金属化合物を添加させることで析出物を生成させる工程1と、工程1によって生成した析出物を固液分離によって除去する工程2を含む溶媒抽出用の有機溶媒中の金属を溶媒抽出するためのリン酸エステル系抽出剤の除去方法。
- 前記有機溶媒中の前記リン酸エステル系抽出剤の濃度が0.1〜10vol%である請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記有機溶媒は工程1を実施したときに析出物を生成しない有機化合物を含有する請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 有機化合物が金属の溶媒抽出剤である請求項3に記載の方法。
- 金属の溶媒抽出剤が金属を溶媒抽出するためのホスホン酸エステル系抽出剤である請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記ホスホン酸エステル系抽出剤が(2−エチルヘキシル)ホスホン酸2−エチルヘキシルである請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記リン酸エステル系抽出剤がジ−(2−エチルヘキシル)リン酸である請求項1〜6の何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 希土類金属がイットリウムである請求項1〜7の何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 3価の希土類金属化合物の添加量は前記リン酸エステル系抽出剤に対して1/3以上のモル比とする請求項1〜8の何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 請求項5又は6に記載の方法によって前記リン酸エステル系抽出剤が除去された前記ホスホン酸エステル系抽出剤を含有する前記有機溶媒を用意する工程と、当該有機溶媒に対して酸性水溶液を添加し、希土類金属成分を水相側に逆抽出する工程と、逆抽出後の前記有機溶媒を抽出剤として用いて、コバルト及びニッケルを含有する水溶液からコバルトを溶媒抽出する工程とを含むコバルトの溶媒抽出方法。
- コバルト及びニッケルを含有する水溶液はリチウムイオン電池の正極活物質を含む廃材を酸浸出して得られた浸出後液に由来する請求項10に記載の方法。
