Claims (3)
- 蓋部と本体部とからなる扁平形の外装ケースと,前記外装ケース内に両ターン部が蓋部と本体部の底面とを向くように収納されているとともに電解液が含浸されている扁平形の電極捲回体とを有する二次電池において,
前記外装ケースの内面と前記電極捲回体との間に,蓋部側が開口した袋状であるとともに底面側の角部に,電解液が通過しうる隙間が形成されている絶縁フィルムを備えており,
前記外装ケースは,内面における底面の少なくとも長手方向端部に,底面と壁面とが曲面で繋がる曲面部を有するものであり,
前記絶縁フィルムにおける前記隙間が形成された角部が,前記外装ケースの内面の前記曲面部と,前記電極捲回体の底面側の角部とにより挟み付けられていることを特徴とする二次電池。 - 請求項1に記載の二次電池において,
前記絶縁フィルムは,
前記電極捲回体の両主面および底面側のターン部を覆うようにU字形に曲げられたU字部と,
前記U字部のうち前記電極捲回体の主面部に対応する部分に対して前記蓋部の長手方向に突出し,前記電極捲回体の端部に沿うように折り曲げられている側方折り曲げ部と, 前記U字部のうち前記電極捲回体のターン部に対応する部分に対して前記蓋部の長手方向に突出し,前記電極捲回体の端部に沿うように折り曲げられている底部折り曲げ部とを有し,
前記側方折り曲げ部と前記底部折り曲げ部との間に切り込みが入れられているとともにこの切れ込みが前記隙間を構成しているものであり,
前記電極捲回体と前記外装ケースの内面の前記曲面部とが,前記底部折り曲げ部を介して接続されていることを特徴とする二次電池。 - 請求項2に記載の二次電池において,
前記絶縁フィルムは,前記底部折り曲げ部の中央部分にも切り込みが入れられているものであり,
この切れ込みも前記隙間を構成していることを特徴とする二次電池。
