第2画素において、第2層の透明電極は、前記第2画素を駆動するTFTのドレイン電極に接続されて前記第2画素の画素電極となり、第1層の透明電極は、前記第2画素の共通電極となる画素ユニットを提供する。
1フレームの画像を表示するにあたって、各データラインに同一の電圧極性のデータ信号を入力し、アレイの各画素ユニットの第1画素と第2画素を駆動し、または、
1フレームの画像を表示するにあたって、データラインに入力するデータ信号の電圧極性を行おきに変化させ、アレイにおける各画素ユニットの第1画素と第2画素を駆動する画素駆動方法を提供する。

Claims (3)
- 第1画素と第2画素とを有し、且つ、前記第1画素と前記第2画素とはデータラインが伸びている方向に平行する同一の行にあり且つ隣接するデュアルゲート技術を用いて、
各画素は、2層の透明電極及び一つの薄膜トランジスタTFTを有し、
前記2層の透明電極は、それぞれ画素電極と共通電極となり、且つ、前記第1画素を駆動するTFTと前記第2画素を駆動するTFTのソース電極は、同一のデータラインに接続され、ゲート電極は、異なるゲートラインに接続され、
第1画素において、第1層の透明電極は、前記第1画素を駆動するTFTのドレイン電極に接続されて前記第1画素の画素電極となり、第2層の透明電極は、前記第1画素の共通電極となり、
第2画素において、第2層の透明電極は、前記第2画素を駆動するTFTのドレイン電極に接続されて前記第2画素の画素電極となり、第1層の透明電極は、前記第2画素の共通電極となるように構成された画素ユニットからなるアレイを有し、
前記アレイの各行に第1画素と第2画素が交互に設置され、前記アレイの各列に同一の第1画素または同一の第2画素が設置される画素構造に適用される画素駆動方法であって、
1フレームの画像を表示するにあたって、データラインに入力するデータ信号の電圧極性をゲートラインの2行おきに変化させ、同一行における第1層の透明電極と第2層の透明電極との間の電圧の差の極性を同一にさせ、隣接する行の第1層の透明電極と第2層の透明電極との間の電圧の差の極性を反対にさせて、画素のドット反転を実現することを特徴とする画素駆動方法。 - 第1画素と第2画素とを有し、且つ、前記第1画素と前記第2画素とはデータラインが伸びている方向に平行する同一の行にあり且つ隣接するデュアルゲート技術を用いて、
各画素は、2層の透明電極及び一つの薄膜トランジスタTFTを有し、
前記2層の透明電極は、それぞれ画素電極と共通電極となり、且つ、前記第1画素を駆動するTFTと前記第2画素を駆動するTFTのソース電極は、同一のデータラインに接続され、ゲート電極は、異なるゲートラインに接続され、
第1画素において、第1層の透明電極は、前記第1画素を駆動するTFTのドレイン電極に接続されて前記第1画素の画素電極となり、第2層の透明電極は、前記第1画素の共通電極となり、
第2画素において、第2層の透明電極は、前記第2画素を駆動するTFTのドレイン電極に接続されて前記第2画素の画素電極となり、第1層の透明電極は、前記第2画素の共通電極となるように構成された画素ユニットからなるアレイを有し、
前記アレイの各行及び各列に第1画素と第2画素が交互に設置される画素構造に適用される画素駆動方法であって、
1フレームの画像を表示するにあたって、データラインに入力するデータ信号の電圧極性をゲートラインの2行おきに変化させ、同一行における第1層の透明電極と第2層の透明電極との間の電圧の差の極性を同一にさせ、隣接する行の第1層の透明電極と第2層の透明電極との間の電圧の差の極性を反対にさせて、画素のコラム反転を実現することを特徴とする画素駆動方法。 - 隣接するフレームの画像を表示するにあたって、各前記データラインのデータ信号の電圧極性を変化させ、同一画素の第1層の透明電極と第2層の透明電極との間の電圧の差の極性を反対にさせることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の画素駆動方法。
