Claims (6)
- 無線電力受信装置に無線で電力を送信する無線電力送信装置であって、
電力ソースから提供を受けた電力を共振を用いて前記無線電力受信装置の受信コイルに伝送する送信コイルと、
前記送信コイルとカップリングされて前記電力ソースから提供を受けた電力を電磁気誘導を通じて前記送信コイルに伝達する送信誘導コイルと、
前記無線電力受信装置で可変する出力インピーダンスに応じた前記無線電力送信装置の入力インピーダンスを測定し、前記測定された入力インピーダンスに基づいて前記送信コイルと前記受信コイルとの間の結合係数を測定する検出部と、
を含み、
前記検出部は、
前記無線電力受信装置の出力インピーダンスを0に固定させた後、前記無線電力送信装置の入力インピーダンスを測定して、測定された前記無線電力送信装置の入力インピーダンスと前記送信誘導コイルのインダクタンスとを用いて前記結合係数を検出することを特徴とする無線電力送信装置。 - 前記検出部は、
前記無線電力受信装置の出力インピーダンスを固定させた後、前記結合係数を検出し、インバンド通信またはアウトオブバンド通信を用いて前記無線電力受信装置のインピーダンスを調節するための前記結合係数に対する情報を前記無線電力受信装置に伝送することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の無線電力送信装置。 - 前記検出部は、
前記無線電力受信装置の出力インピーダンスを固定させた後、前記結合係数を検出し、前記結合係数に基づいて前記無線電力受信装置のインピーダンス変更情報を決定して、決まったインピーダンス変更情報を前記無線電力受信装置に送信することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の無線電力送信装置。 - 前記無線電力受信装置のインピーダンス変更情報は、
前記受信コイルとカップリングされて電力の伝達を受ける受信誘導コイルのインダクタンス変更情報または負荷端のインピーダンス変更情報のうち、いずれか1つであることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の無線電力送信装置。 - 負荷端に電力を伝達する無線電力伝送システムの無線電力伝送方法であって、
無線電力受信装置の出力インピーダンスを0に変更させるステップと、
前記変更された出力インピーダンスによって無線電力送信装置の入力インピーダンスを測定するステップと、
前記測定された入力インピーダンスから前記無線電力送信装置の送信コイルと前記無線電力受信装置の受信コイルとの結合係数を検出するステップと、
前記検出された結合係数に対する情報をインバンドまたはアウトオブバンド通信を介して前記無線電力受信装置に伝送するステップと、
前記結合係数に応じて前記無線電力受信装置の負荷側インピーダンスを可変するステップと、を含み、
前記結合係数を検出するステップは、
前記測定された入力インピーダンスと、前記送信コイルとカップリングされて電力ソースから提供を受けた電力を電磁気誘導を通じて前記送信コイルに伝達する前記無線電力送信装置の送信誘導コイルのインダクタンスとを用いて、前記送信コイルと前記受信コイルとの結合係数を検出するステップを含むことを特徴とする無線電力伝送方法 。 - 前記出力インピーダンスを0に変更させるステップは、
前記負荷端と並列に連結されたスイッチを短絡させて前記無線電力受信装置の出力インピーダンスを0に変更させるステップを含むことを特徴とする、 請求項5に記載の無線電力伝送方法 。
