Description
結合剤(a)と、
亜鉛粉末および/または亜鉛合金粉末(b)と、
400〜700℃の軟化点を有するガラス粉末(c)と
を含むことを特徴とする防錆塗料組成物である。
本発明の防錆塗料組成物は、結合剤(a)と亜鉛粉末および/または亜鉛合金粉末(b)と400〜700℃の軟化点を有するガラス粉末(c)を含有する。また、前記組成物は、前記結合剤(a)以外のその他の結合剤、前記亜鉛粉末および/または亜鉛合金粉末(b)ならびに前記ガラス粉末(c)以外のその他の顔料、モリブデン、モリブデン化合物、着色顔料、添加剤、溶剤等から選択される1種または2種以上をさらに含有してもよい。
〈結合剤(a)〉
本発明の防錆塗料組成物は、結合剤(a)を必須成分として含有する。
〈亜鉛粉末および/または亜鉛合金粉末(b)〉
本発明の防錆塗料組成物は、亜鉛粉末および/または亜鉛合金粉末(b)を必須成分として含有する。
〈ガラス粉末(c)〉
本発明の防錆塗料組成物は、400〜700℃の軟化点を有するガラス粉末(c)を必須成分として含有する。前記ガラス粉末(c)は、塗膜が高温、例えば400〜900℃で加熱された際に亜鉛の酸化防止剤として作用する。
また、ガラスを構成する成分の一つであるB2O3は、それ単独で軟化点が約450℃のガラス状の物質であり、本発明のガラス粉末(c)として用いることができる。B2O3の市販品としては、例えば、酸化ほう素(商品名;関東化学(株)製,鹿1級試薬)が挙げられる。
一般的に複数の構成成分から成るガラス粉末は、様々な構成成分の組合せや配合量を調整することで、所望の軟化点、耐水性、安定性、熱膨張性、透明性などの諸特性を得ることができる。一方、単一成分のガラス粉末ではこれらの諸性能を複数同時に得ることは困難である。例えば、B2O3は水への溶解性が高いので、防錆塗膜がB2O3を含む場合、特に屋外暴露時において、降雨などによって塗膜成分の溶解が起こり、塗膜の耐久性、さらには防食性に問題が出てくる場合がある。
〈その他の結合剤〉
本発明の防錆塗料組成物は、本発明の目的および効果を損なわない範囲で、結合剤(a)以外のその他の結合剤を含有してもよい。他の結合剤としては、例えば、ポリビニルブチラール樹脂が挙げられる。
〈その他の顔料〉
本発明の防錆塗料組成物は、様々な塗膜特性を確保する目的で、亜鉛粉末および/または亜鉛合金粉末(b)およびガラス粉末(c)以外のその他顔料を含有してもよい。
本発明の防錆塗料組成物は、モリブデン(金属モリブデン)、モリブデン化合物の一方または双方を含有することができる。これらは、亜鉛の酸化防止剤(いわゆる白錆抑制剤)として作用する。
本発明の防錆塗料組成物は、塗膜に所望の色相を付与することを目的として、着色顔料を含有してもよい。着色顔料としては、例えば、酸化チタン、弁柄、カーボンブラック、銅クロム系黒色顔料、フタロシアニングリーン、フタロシアニンブルーが挙げられる。着色顔料の市販品としては、例えば、TITONE R−5N(堺化学工工業(株)製)、弁柄No.404(森下弁柄工業(株)製)、三菱カーボンブラック MA100(三菱化学(株)製)、ダイピロキサイド ブラック #9510(大日精化工業(株)製)、Heliogen Green L8690(BASFジャパン(株)製)、FASTOGEN Blue 5485(DIC(株)製)が挙げられる。
本発明の防錆塗料組成物は、添加剤を含有してもよい。添加剤とは、塗料や塗膜の性能を向上させ、または保持するために用いられる材料である。添加剤としては、例えば、沈降防止剤、乾燥剤、流動性調整剤、消泡剤、分散剤、色分れ防止剤、皮張り防止剤、可塑剤、紫外線吸収剤が挙げられる。添加剤は、1種単独でまたは2種以上組み合わせて用いることができる。
本発明の防錆塗料組成物は、主剤成分の希釈溶剤または顔料等の分散溶剤として、有機溶剤を用いることができる。
〔防錆塗料組成物の用途〕
本発明の防錆塗料組成物は、好ましくは耐熱防錆塗料組成物である。
本発明の防錆塗膜は、上述の防錆塗料組成物から形成され、また、本発明の防錆塗膜付き基板は、鋼板等の基板と、前記基板表面に形成された、上述の防錆塗料組成物からなる防錆塗膜とを有する。
本発明の防錆塗膜付き基板の製造方法は、鋼板等の基板表面に、上述の防錆塗料組成物を塗装する工程(塗装工程)、および塗装された前記防錆塗料組成物を硬化させて防錆塗膜を形成する工程(硬化工程)を有する。
エチルシリケート40(コルコート(株)製)38g、工業用エタノール18g、脱イオン水4g、および35%塩酸0.03gを容器に仕込み、50℃で3時間攪拌した後、イソプロピルアルコール40gを加えて、アルキルシリケートの縮合物の溶液を調製した。
亜鉛末(球状亜鉛粉末、鱗片状亜鉛粉末、鱗片状亜鉛合金粉末)を除いた、表1〜3に記載の実施例および比較例において顔料ペースト成分として示した原材料をそれぞれポリエチレン製容器に仕込み、ガラスビーズを加えてペイントシェーカーにて3時間振とうした後、亜鉛末を加えて5分間振とうして顔料を分散させた。80メッシュのフィルターを用いてガラスビーズを除去して顔料ペースト成分を調製し、後述する実施例1〜16、比較例1〜3に用いた。
主剤成分である調製例1のアルキルシリケートの縮合物と、顔料ペースト成分である調製例2の顔料ペースト成分とを、含有成分の比率が表1〜3記載の割合(質量基準)となるように、ポリエチレン製容器に仕込み、ハイスピードディスパーにて10分間分散させて防錆塗料組成物を調製した。
アルキルシリケートの縮合物の溶液:調製例1で調製されたアルキルシリケートの縮合物の溶液(固形分濃度:15.2質量%)
球状亜鉛粉末:F−2000(本荘ケミカル(株)製)
鱗片状亜鉛粉末:STANDART Zinc flake GTT(ECKART GmbH製)
鱗片状亜鉛合金粉末:STAPA 4 ZNAL7(亜鉛とアルミニウムの合金、ECKART GmbH製)
沈降防止剤:AEROSIL 200(日本アエロジル(株)製)
黒色顔料:ダイピロキサイド ブラック #9510(大日精化工業(株)製)
酸化亜鉛:酸化亜鉛3種(ハクスイテック(株)製)
カリ長石:セラミックスパウダーOF−T(キンセイマテック(株)製)
珪酸ジルコニウム:A−PAX 45M(キンセイマテック(株)製)
ガラス粉末1(軟化点389℃):DPS300(旭硝子(株)製 )
ガラス粉末2(軟化点400℃):NB122A(セントラル硝子(株)製)
ガラス粉末3(軟化点480℃):B20(セントラル硝子(株)製)
ガラス粉末4(軟化点510℃):TA149(セントラル硝子(株)製)
ガラス粉末5(軟化点605℃):AZ739(セントラル硝子(株)製)
ガラス粉末6(軟化点700℃):PFL20(セントラル硝子(株)製)
ガラス粉末7(軟化点450℃):酸化ほう素 鹿1級(関東化学(株)製 )
ガラス粉末8(軟化点750℃):APS325((株)ピュアミック製)
〔評価方法・評価基準〕
(1)防錆塗膜の防錆性(発錆)
サンドブラスト処理板(JIS G3101,SS400、寸法:150mm×70mm×2.3mm)のブラスト処理面に、ライン塗装機を用いて防錆塗料組成物を塗装した。次いで、防錆塗料組成物を塗装したサンドブラスト処理板をJIS K5600 1−6の規格に従い、温度23℃、相対湿度50%の恒温室内で1週間乾燥させて、表1〜3記載の平均乾燥膜厚を有する防錆塗膜と前記処理板とからなる試験板を作製した。平均乾燥膜厚は、電磁式膜厚計「LE−370」(商品名;(株)ケット科学研究所製)を用いて測定した。
10:発錆無し、または発錆面積が試験板の全面積の0.01%以下
9:発錆面積が試験板の全面積の0.01%を超え0.03%以下
8:発錆面積が試験板の全面積の0.03%を超え0.1%以下
7:発錆面積が試験板の全面積の0.1%を超え0.3%以下
6:発錆面積が試験板の全面積の0.3%を超え1%以下
5:発錆面積が試験板の全面積の1%を超え3%以下
4:発錆面積が試験板の全面積の3%を超え10%以下
3:発錆面積が試験板の全面積の10%を超え16%以下
2:発錆面積が試験板の全面積の16%を超え33%以下
1:発錆面積が試験板の全面積の33%を超え50%以下
0:発錆面積が試験板の全面積の50%を超え100%まで
(2)防錆塗膜の耐熱変色性
サンドブラスト処理板(JIS G3101,SS400、寸法:150mm×70mm×2.3mm)のブラスト処理面に、ライン塗装機を用いて防錆塗料組成物を塗装した。次いで、防錆塗料組成物を塗装したサンドブラスト処理板をJIS K5600 1−6の規格に従い、温度23℃、相対湿度50%の恒温室内で1週間放置して、表1〜3記載の平均乾燥膜厚を有する防錆塗膜と前記処理板とからなる試験板を各防錆塗料組成物につきそれぞれ2枚作製した。
Claims (7)
- 結合剤(a)と、
亜鉛粉末および/または亜鉛合金粉末(b)と、
400〜700℃の軟化点を有するガラス粉末(c)と
を含み、前記亜鉛粉末および/または亜鉛合金粉末(b)に対する前記ガラス粉末(c)の質量比((c)/(b))が0.005〜0.10であることを特徴とする防錆塗料組成物。 - 前記結合剤(a)がケイ素系結合剤である、請求項1に記載の防錆塗料組成物。
- 前記結合剤(a)がアルキルシリケートおよびメチルトリアルコキシシランから選択される少なくとも1種の化合物の縮合物である、請求項1または3に記載の防錆塗料組成物。
- 耐熱防錆塗料組成物である、請求項1、3及び4のいずれか1項に記載の防錆塗料組成物。
- 請求項1及び3〜5のいずれか1項に記載の防錆塗料組成物から形成された塗膜。
- 基板と、前記基板表面に形成された、請求項1及び3〜5のいずれか1項に記載の防錆塗料組成物からなる塗膜とを有することを特徴とする塗膜付き基板。
- 基板表面に、請求項1及び3〜5のいずれか1項に記載の防錆塗料組成物を塗装する工程、および塗装された前記防錆塗料組成物を硬化させて塗膜を形成する工程を有する塗膜付き基板の製造方法。
