Claims (14)
- 再充電可能な高電圧バッテリパックであって、
複数の直列連結エネルギー貯蔵エレメントと、
第1のノードおよび第2のノードを有するインターロックであって、前記第1のノードは、前記第1のノードの前記第2のノードへの電力通信を制御するように制御信号に応答する前記インターロックによって前記複数の直列連結エネルギー貯蔵エレメントへ連結され、第1のモードにおいて前記制御信号に応答して前記通信を有効化すると共に第2のモードにおいて前記制御信号に応答して前記電力通信を無効化するインターロックと、
前記複数の直列連結エネルギー貯蔵エレメントおよび前記インターロックを複数の外壁で囲んで密封するハウジングと、
前記複数の外壁のうちの特定の1つである第1の外壁の一部へ結合される操作ポートであって、当該操作ポートが前記第2のノードへ連結され、且つ、前記電力通信が有効化される場合にのみ前記複数の直列連結エネルギー貯蔵エレメントに対して第1のエネルギー伝達を提供する、操作ポートと、
前記複数の外壁のうちの特定の1つである第2の外壁の一部へ連結されるサービスポートであって、当該サービスポートが前記第1のノードへ連結され、且つ、前記電力通信が有効化されかどうかに関わらず前記複数の直列連結エネルギー貯蔵エレメントに対して第2のエネルギー伝達を提供する、サービスポートと

前記サービスポートは、前記第2のエネルギー伝達を一方向に限定するエネルギー伝達方向制御を含み、前記一方向は、前記複数の直列連結エネルギー貯蔵エレメントを、前記サービスポートを介して放電することを特徴とする再充電可能な高電圧バッテリパック。 - 前記制御信号を選択的にアサートするバッテリ管理システムをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の再充電可能な高電圧バッテリパック。
- 前記インターロックは、前記制御信号に応答して選択的に開閉する複数のコンタクタを含み、前記複数のコンタクタは、前記電力通信を有効化するために閉止され、かつ前記電力通信を無効化するために開くことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の再充電可能な高電圧バッテリパック。

- 前記二次電力コネクタへ連結される不正開封防止シールを含み、前記不正開封防止シールは前記サービスポートの使用を視覚的に示すことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の再充電可能な高電圧バッテリパック。
- 再充電可能な高電圧バッテリパックを管理するための方法であって、
a)前記再充電可能な高電圧バッテリパックを、インターロックを介して外部操作ポートに対しエネルギーを伝達するように構成することと、
b)前記再充電可能な高電圧バッテリパックに対してエネルギーを伝達するために、前記操作ポートを用いることなく前記再充電可能な高電圧バッテリパックと外部サービスポートとの間でエネルギーを伝達すべく前記インターロックをバイパスすることを含み、
前記外部サービスポートは、エネルギー伝達を一方向に限定するエネルギー伝達方向制御を含み、前記一方向は、前記再充電可能な高電圧バッテリパックを、前記外部サービスポートを介して放電することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記操作ポートは、前記再充電可能な高電圧バッテリパックに対する双方向のエネルギー伝達をサポートし、
c)前記バイパスすることによる前記エネルギーの伝達を前記一方向のみに限定することをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。 - 前記再充電可能な高電圧バッテリパックは、ある動作環境内に据え付けられ、前記動作環境は、前記操作ポートへ連通される外部アクセス可能一次電力コネクタと、前記サービスポートへ連通される外部アクセス可能二次電力コネクタとを含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。
- d)前記外部アクセス可能二次電力コネクタを、前記サービスポートの使用の視覚的表示を提供する不正開封防止の閉鎖手段を用いて保護することをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の方法。
- 再充電可能な高電圧バッテリパックを管理するための方法であって、
a)前記再充電可能な高電圧バッテリパックを、インターロックを介して外部操作ポートに対しエネルギーを伝達するように構成することと、
b)前記再充電可能な高電圧バッテリパックに対してエネルギーを伝達するために、前記操作ポートを用いることなく前記再充電可能な高電圧バッテリパックと外部サービスポートとの間でエネルギーを伝達すべく前記インターロックをバイパスすることを含み、
前記再充電可能な高電圧バッテリパックは、ある動作環境内に据え付けられ、前記動作環境は、前記操作ポートへ連通される外部アクセス可能一次電力コネクタと、前記サービスポートへ連通される外部アクセス可能二次電力コネクタとを含み、
当該方法は、
d)前記外部アクセス可能二次電力コネクタを、前記サービスポートの使用の視覚的表示を提供する不正開封防止の閉鎖手段を用いて保護することをさらに含むことを特徴とする方法。
